Well, if Fafnir has a low chance of being accepted as a base mob, I may have to settle for a Hydra/Cerb/Khimaira base mob and add Fafnir to it. But I'm still interested in hearing how many tries it does take to get Fafnir to work as a base mob.

We know its possible, due to the .dats, but its just a question of how many tries, it seems.

I hope FP capacity goes up with level, because I can't imagine a mob starting out with only 8 FP, like the Fafnir with Arcana Killer, getting very far. I'd go with the FP:30 Fafnir, hope it is weak enough to be made into a reflector (sounds like a low success rate on that), and then stock it up with 30 FP-worth of stuff.

How many FP would it cost to give the ability from "Fafnir <Breath Damage Resistence +15%> (FP30)" to another mob? Any indication from the NPC?
