Ok I just shot 3 dozen slides in a row and only failed once when the mob moved away right after I used my camera.

Stand directly in front of a mob, and your record rate is dramatically increased.

The other day i watched the FFXI livecam for a few out of boredom. It was showing fights in the pit and one of the mobs was a triple-bats mob. The reason it stood out was because it was the red color and not black.

I've seen a triple bat (CoP model), a sapling, and a beetle. It's hard to say if they were terrible because there isn't really an good way to tell what level they and their opponent were, but they died pretty fast.

Seen: sheep, bugard, bats (single & triplet). Friend tried a Snoll card but it couldn't be made into a pet.

Yeah, can't use it as a pet (obviously) but it gives all sorts of Damage Resistances, magical and physical
% and bonus, etc (I particularly liked Magic Resistance Bonus)

Unless they're chigoes the same or higher level than you. Nothing better than two-shotting something and getting 100+ xp for it.
