Unless stated ((mob moved)), all were taken from infront of the mob. If there's any difference between NQ/HQ plates I can't see it from my small sample. I did happen to get a Attack Speed +50 plate from a HQ earlier, but who knows.

I wasn't pay much attention to speed, but until someone can bring some evidence to support them being somehow better then NQ I'll stick to NQ ones for now. I'm out of IS now (lol) so I can't try any more King Apkallu. I'm just sticking with my trait-less Apkallu for now, he's level 16 so it's not worth giving up all that time for some crappy traits. The only tempting one was HP+15%.

If you want DRK Main or BLM Main, just go to Xarc and stand in front of those two Demon Wizards/Knights outside the castle. I went 1/1 on them both, but kept taking images and finally got both of them as Subjobs, along with M.Att+15%, Att+15% skills.

Apkallu seem to have a small chance to get some sort of trait, I chucked most of my gear in MH and went and grabbed 21 and got nothing real worthwhile. I have no intentions of dropping my level 16 one unless I can get an Attack Speed enhancing trait or Auto-Regain. The other's just don't seem worth the time I've put into my current one.

I don't think it makes any difference, my test was too small a sample size to really say anything about both. I think I just got luckier trait-wise on the NQ ones then I did the HQ.

Go for whatever you actually want to use for a pet (if you want to actually make use of any innate traits that is). I'd level up a new Apkallu personally, so I was aiming to get one with a good trait or two. Apkallu are also nice because you don't have to worry about sneak/invis since nothing nearby aggro's (at kings atleast).

No, forged about 9 apkallu, 3 had innate traits, all of which sucked though. (water resist+2, resist poison, resist sleep).

I mean that just means it's gonna open with Final sting
