Holy crap en-light is insane. Some MNK mob was swinging twice for 20-25 per hit with 20-25 light damage after it.![]()
Just fought a friends level 16 Malboro. Told my Apkallu to "give it more bite" and he used Yawn, lol. Won with 15%ish HP left. :D

Revelant to my interests, yes...Originally Posted by Rocl
What were the FP costs on those abilities? I was thinking of heading into beastmen strongholds for some good plates to use on a pet.
kiarax quick question: what is your FP max atm? mine @ 17 is 71. i wana know if they all follow a pattern or a roll per lvl.
Go up per level, got at level 8 and it was 67 FP. Didn't pay attention to gain per level but it got 70 at level 13. Level 16 now and 70/71 atm, 65 tnl and fighting my friends Malboro again, if I win I'll let you know if I got any FP gain, I doubt I will though.Originally Posted by lilfoo

yeah looks like it is a linear progression. the way it looks to me is .5 FP per lvl atm
my mob started at level 8 with 50 FP, got 1 at level 9 and 10, and hasn't gained FP since, with 52 at level 14.Originally Posted by lilfoo

Where are people getting en-light? ;;/ i wants and can't find it..
btw, Tried to Forge 8 Taurus to get some better inate abilities. I'm 100% on Capture Rate with Nuking to 10% or so and sleeping with HQ Camera/Plates.
Every Taurus comes with MNK Main Job;
1. STR+25
2. StR +25
3. Critical Hit Rate Bonus
4. Attack Bonus
5. Attack +15%
6. Dragon Killer
7. Dragon Killer - Only one to retain trait of Dragon Killer.
8. Dragon Killer
I am guessing some Families just don't retain traits or come with Inate Traits often. Other then MNK main job Taurus are hard to get Inate Traits on it seems.
Also, from Lv9 to 15 I have only gotten +2FP.
Light Elementals and Proto-Ultima give it. There may be more but idk, Alexander maybe? Best bet is to grab a couple of stacks of plates and head up to sky though.Originally Posted by Judai

If I had to guess, corse/flan/imp/skeleton/ahriman/worm/magic potOriginally Posted by Ruin

@Kyreth: couldn't tell you sold 'em all or dropped em >_>
I wonder what mage jobs a Mimic could become... it came with Max MP+15%, so I'm assuming it could become something...Originally Posted by Priran
Has anyone tried out the 70FP Attack Speed Bonus skill? (Not the 58 FP +50 one) I have one and am tempted to put it on my mob in a few levels, but I don't want to loose the other abilities I have unless bonus is worth it.
Has anyone compiled a list of mobs and main/subs by family? I want to know if my tiger can sub SAM.
skills like that level every fight, so it would eventually be way better than the flat bonus skill, but start off awful.Originally Posted by Evedgebah
70 FP is a good enough reason not to equip it to a mob yet.Originally Posted by Evedgebah
From the name it looks like a trait that levels up, trade it to the NPC without your Soul Reflector and see what he says about it. From the sounds of the NPC help text on Attack Speed +50 it reduces your delay by 50. Out of curiousity what other traits are you using at the moment? I imagine attack speed boosting will be one of the better traits so I doubt you'll make yourself any worse off using an Attack Speed Bonus trait.Originally Posted by Evedgebah

Yea.. I tried some Eles and didn't get it. Guess I'll go try again, lol. I'm thinking MNK Taurus with En-Light will be pretty badass lol.Originally Posted by Kiarax
