wow that's some shit FP lol.. no clue tbh tho. Probably a bad mob to start with, until we know more about higher levels.Originally Posted by Ruin
anyone notice the "xxxx bonus" levels r different from each mob? i traded my attack bonus plate from orc and the NPC said this plate contain attack bonus lv6, then i tried the one i got from kirin and it says attack bonus lv10.
It would appear most monsters with low FP have much higher stats(especially HP) than monsters with high FP. Monsters who are in the middle like clusters and apkallu are pretty brutal.
EDIT: HAY GUYS, BEING STOPPED 3 TIMES IN A ROW BECAUSE OF "NEW POST HAS BEEN MADE" IS DICK.
Corse are, in my experience, shit. I beat one 4 levels above me yesterday, not sure why Apkallu get 64 odd FP and Corse get 17.. lol.Originally Posted by Ruin
Speaking of which, I just beat a lvl 19 weapon at lvl 18, and during the fight, my enspell hit for 52 one time.. at level 35. Whats the deal? I've never seen it do more than the level it is at before now.
Same element day as the enspell? I have no clue.. I thought weapons were magic resistant.Originally Posted by Delekii
maybe the day bonus came into effect? Hell if i know otherwise.Originally Posted by Delekii

It was windsday.. makes no sense to me either. The Weapon was casting banishga and diaga, so it was atleast /WHM or WHM, so possibly had MDB too if it had traits (I doubt it, lol). Very, very strange. It seems like it was double damage, because all the other damage I did in the fight was around 27-28 (which would be consistent with weapon magic damage reduction).
Did you do Sleep or that "sneak attack" type move? Those both seem to double your damage, but i'm not sure if it'd carry over to add: effects
Oh? Yeah, I did "Give it a bit more bit" which causes it to duck around to the side whenever the enemy casts or uses TP. Interesting, now that I look it also doubled the melee attack, and the next hit crit for 134 damage (probably the second attack since I am a monk)...Originally Posted by Eggwoll
wow, that is kinda overpowered... Monks with enspell get double damage on 2 hits, and on 2 enspells, using Give it a bit more bite.. lol

normal damage was mid 20s for both melee and enspell. Got overpowered? Guess I know what command Ill be spamming.

Okay, using this as a base... I am now almost sure that temperament is completely random.
Additionally, it might be so that the ability plate has a higher chance(but not by much!) to appear as an innate. This needs a great deal of more testing be more than just speculation.
And finally, to go with the above... has anyone ever gotten a innate of an en-effect? Be is elemental damage or enfeebling?
Friend got innate enpara on his tiger.
I'd rather catch the other players!Originally Posted by Eggwoll
After I get a Cave Antlion and Wamoura to 50, I'm totally going to pimp out a chigoe with two innate attack speeds with two en-spells(+25 and bonus) to see how brutal it is. It'll be like my little silenced ninja tarutaru /SMN
They don't stack. Atleast, the en-spells don't, and it makes sense that the others don't either. Basically, you have a choice between a levelable, expensive trait that ends up much better, or a static trait that starts pretty powerful but never gets better.Originally Posted by BRP
Ok so my Bhoot just hit 17. It is DRK main BLM sub with Auto Refresh level 42 (innate) and Dread spikes level 30, nothing else equipped. It just cast blizzard first fight after hitting level 17, ihow?
Ice magic is natural to undead, so you don't need to use Black Magic scrolls to get them to cast it.Originally Posted by Vistani
Judai how is crit hit bonus working out for you? I'm dropping DA+15% for it for now.
About 300 pictures... both types of cameras, both types of film. Ended up with a successful Inherit after HQ cam, NQ film.Originally Posted by sekaran
2 friends I went out with also got the same plate, but failed at inherit. Both using HQ cam, and 1 using NQ film, while other used HQ film.
1) Do Goobbues ever come with Innate Main Job: Monk
2) Do they punch twice?
3) Would equipping them with Job Trait: Monk make them punch twice (assuming they were Main Job: Monk)?
