I had a WAR/--- Goobbue. I made main job Monk, gave it Monk traits and it began punching twice per round. I'm not sure if it was the traits or the main job that made it punch twice. I wanted to go for a badass Goobbue plate to see if one would start MNK main with a good innate but I can' get close enough to Ancient Goobbue.

Has anyone tried to do Main Job Beastmaster, or Main Job Summoner? It seems like they would be good choices for Marid, Detectors, and such.

i got my taurus with dread spike but idk when mob has SS seems kinda useless. the question is should i trade it?

options i got atm:

additional light dmg +25 (30fp), light atk +15%(12fp)

vs

Instant dread spikes (38fp), War SJ (8fp)

Auto Regain starting to get better. Was able to do 3WS to the opponents 1.. which was nullified with Yawn. Level 26 so far.

Ok so my Bhoot just hit 17. It is DRK main BLM sub with Auto Refresh level 42 (innate) and Dread spikes level 30, nothing else equipped. It just cast blizzard first fight after hitting level 17, ihow?

Ice magic is natural to undead, so you don't need to use Black Magic scrolls to get them to cast it.

That doesn't explain why a DRK main is casting spells that a BLM main would learn at said levels. DRK main should learn blizzard in the late 20s. Unless of course for some reason, the level of sub doesn't matter when it comes to spells.

minor confusion in general. I have/am aware there is an Added (Elemental) Damage +25, but is there an added damage bonus for this that levels up? i'm seeing people saying that their 'en-spell' is leveling, but i've yet to come across a bonus of this sort.

anyone care to shed some light here?


also... i haven't seen/heard/read about it, but anyone think there may be a Counter attack % or bonus anywhere from something?

I have a DRK main (Undead), NO Sub.
It casts dark magic spells, I stuck a DRK Job Traits on it, so i dont know if it was casting at the start, or after the updated traits.

Priran could be right, in that they start with an inate ability to cast spells, Also could be a reason why Corse has a low starting FP.

What about job abilities? When they use there abilities, like sneak attack for example, does it say? Could test this by removing the trait and seeing wether it still fires.

What level Auto-Regain? Regardless of that I think TP is just really random. Half the time my mob will never WS. If I'm fighting someone of an even level they'll WS 3 times to my 1.

I think you can stack similar abilities if one is innate.
