Why would SAM sub be important to an HP build? WARs have the 2nd most HP (behind MNKs), anyways. Not sure how SAM compares, although it is possible they may be tied (if not close behind).

I use this Stat Calculator to get relative differences of jobs http://www.datasync.com/~dsmith/FFXIStats/. As long as you keep the race the same on both sides, its irrelevant which race you select when comparing jobs. (Race and Job growth are independent in case someone asks)

That calculator is correct and up to date for all jobs, and uses the correct system of stat ranks to calculate totals, much like weapon rank. Here's the ranks for each job:

Been a very effective setup against all the En-Spell and Attack++ whores but I was lacking power sometimes.

Anyone know what type of spells pld use? I wan't mine to just heal itself but I'm afraid of it using banish and shit alot.

It shouldn't use banish depending on what commands you give it and how defensive/offensive it is. Like "back off a bit" or "Guard! Block! etc" probably will encourage it to cast cure.

PLD crab with WHM scrolls here. Never seen it use banish even once. I just set it on "Guard!..." and it spams cures the whole fight. Once I was messing around with commands and it used protect, but I'm not sure what command it was under at the time.

Sweet maybe you can answer another question I have. I recently got bubble curtain and I'm wondering if it'll do it more then once. I'm afraid it'll be dumb like mobs and just do it over and over again but I'm not sure.

Yes, it can do it over and over. I watched a crab use it every TP move. Have to figure out which commands tell it to use different TP moves probably.

Full at 60/60 - had no initial trait because noone had a clue back then. But I didnt want to start over at this point since I was hoping on being able to abuse the Champ Cage. My Server had 3 other 50s before me taking up the Diablos cage but then it was my turn. 36 to 50 in 2 days. The competition for it getting harder every day.

Its fun kicking out other High Level champs every 90 min just to resign the match after - makes the matches really interresting for a while

Seriously? I've got 50 FP at Lv.26 and with the pattern I've seen since I got it, I'd expect around 70 FP by 50.

Or you could get a MNK type like Taurus with MNK Traits and beaf it up with some Defense. Guard and Counter alone can be so annoying.

Wirve could make a good defensive set.
Qutrub could, with an Innate HP bonus, and add Phalanx and Damage resistance.

By the way, anyone ever have an apkallu randomly aggro them?

I've never killed an apkallu before, and I've taken almost 20 stacks of plates worth of photos of Emperor Apkallus without any aggro. Then tonight I went to check out Zhayolm Apkallus and the first one I encounter squeaks and starts attacking me. I hadn't even begun taking pictures yet. So I slept it, logged out and logged in, and now they don't aggro anymore.
