Does Verizon DSL have good ping times?

My current cable company is goddamn awful and after 3PM my latency rises steadily from 100 all the way to 1500 until about 11:30pm or so. My ONLY other option where I live is 3MB/S Verizon DSL but I'm just curious if I'm going to have these latency issues with DSL also.

you shouldnt as DSL is not shared and cable is (cable being inferior, insecure, and shared are the reasons you are having such horrible latency issues) drop cable and go with DSL (speakeasy if you can get it screw verizon) my ping times on my DSL are nearly always sub 100 and usually 50 or so

also i have the onelink 6mb/768kbs package, its an absolutely dedicated line to ONLY your DSL (there's no voice service on that line) i hardly have any downtime EVER and any maintenance they tell you about

also when you call to talk to speakeasy tech support/sales you'll talk to some guy in Seattle, not some fucktard in india

I have speakeasy and it's pretty good. No dropped connections. Ping times are ok, but I wish they would be better some times.

I have optimum online cable internet. I ping from 5-10 to any server within 300 miles, and i ping 50 to anything ranging from chicago to texas to tampa. I have had NOTHING but shitty luck with DSL. It's fucking slow as ass, and to get the speeds i get with my basic cable internet connection, you have to pay out the ass. Just look into a better cable option that's not Verizon.

I currently pay 35$/mo for 15mbit down/1.5mbit up. I could upgrade to 30mbit down/3mbit up for an extra 15 dollars if i wanted. Look into optimum if you can get it.

Called Speakeasy, can't get it. My ISP now is the ONLY cable ISP that services my area and apparently Verizon is the only DSL ISP. Apparently I'm fucked.

My ISP (Jet Broadband) charges like $50/mo for 4mb connection and it has a fucking 20gb limit each month rofl. This sucks.
