Midgar's current champ is an opo-opo. Now and then someone takes a chunk out of his HP, but then it's 'Go go go magic fruit!' and he's back up to full.

definitely have someone cockblocking on Sylph btw, guy has put his level 50 acrolith back in after cool people knock him off and bail 3-4 times now

there is no exp limit per day. the 2k exp limit is for the Diablo cage when the champ keeps on winning, but if the champ decides to step down, he can start over and get more exp b4 the day ends.

I saw a bhoot get him down to 64% everyone else seems like a one hit wonder against him.

He was at over 1300 wins when maint occurred.

Best i got him down to was 15% once at level 46, and 15% again at 47. Hopefully maint will have reset the champ and he won't get back in right away.

Oh i see - I just heard 2000 and somehow thought per day. Well over 400 wins is still cockblocking since stepping down removes the count

Hilarious, there's a Mandragora MNK with en-sleep, so basically it's freely attacking it's opponent without them getting a single attack round in.

People are getting creative now, I've seen a Lizard with stoneskin/phalanx take near no damage, seen BRD puks, etc.

The champion on my server got past 2500 before finally being ousted. I don't think there is any limit.

Combat Hunter, MNK Taurus which I'm sure is level 50 by now with 1500ish wins. Has blink and stoneskin, not sure what else. Possible damage reduction bonus. I haven't broken stoneskin yet with my level 40 Apkallu but I will eventually take that motherfucker down.

How many shadows does his instant blink give by chance?

I've never seen it absorb more than 5 hits. Judging from what I've seen, it seems that Blink is 1 shadow for every ten levels. I have a friend that's levelling a Chigoe with Blink, he'll be able to confirm it better than me. I've only seen other mobs with it.
