Yeah those are the Tier III Dragons, I agree though, sometimes you have them and they have decent HP, and other times you have them and they have what seems line 10x more HP. I really think the number of waves sets that. The 2 Wave sets really suck, where a 4 wave set will be much more managable.

Whats the list of "song" moves vs "non-song" moves these do, I understand ES Silence, but at the same time, wont removing those make it do Body Slam, Chaos Blade, Fire Breath a lot more? Void Song, Null Song, Thorn Song are all annoying but not nearly as harmful as the "Song" moves imo.

Body Slam (easy to stun, blinkable, mages can stand out of range)
Flame Breath (don't stand in front)
Chaos Blade (ruiner of worlds, curses whoever is in front to like 200 hp...instant ko if he follows it with flame breath and your mages aren't quick)
    +
Voidsong (AoE full dispel, removes enfeebs)

Silence lands pretty easily for RDM, trust me full dispelga is way worse than chaos blade or body slam.

edited for accuracy now that I've seen these way more than I would ever want to

Have your BLMs, DRKs and RDM/DRKs stun better on dragons, stun slams and dispel and you should be fine. Void Song is the wosrt move, soley because it makes them take so much longer to kill, giving it more time to hit you with slams and breaths. Generally we take them down pretty quickly with an ES silence on each and some key stuns.

For Khim, we easily CS stun it and wreck it, thing is a total joke. Rarely, it starts to resist stun around 10% or so, but even if it gets a few AoE off, it's too late for it to really stop us from tearing it up. You can kind of Slow CS stun him to start out, it seems he takes a bit longer then alot of bosses to use TP moves, or it might just be that all of his moves are slow wind ups.

We had black dragons today on our first tier 3, they had a really bad curse move dropping me to 300hp (im the pld) =/ if your whms aren't fast you can die easily ><

We had Ormr today, I had no trouble landing silence on RDM every time without ele seal.

Taking out dispel all helped I think. Hasted melee + mages out of range of body slam = that tp move isn't a big deal either. Only real problem is when they do chaos blade => flame breath, which will kill melee if they don't get cursna + cured quickly enough. And of course their fucking HP. We had trouble at the beginning and lost a lot of people to a couple back to back bodyslams, but having brds lullaby it now and then as a pseudo stun helped on top of the normal stuns.

Do they have some kind of physical resistance? Melee damage looked pretty low, especially with minuets and dia 3.

One more edit, we never saw Lodesong, Thornsong, or the dispel all + damage song. Only the regular dispel all song. That may be because we kept them silenced, so we only saw maybe 3-4 songs the whole wave, but it was always dispell all (no dmg). We also never saw Heavy Stomp, just Body Slam, Flame Breath, Chaos Blade. Anyone seen any of those moves that we didn't off of them?

Their only song-attack is Voidsong because these are normal black Dragons not Dahak.

We never saw the damage spikes some black dragons do (Thornsong), idk if this has already been noted.

But yeah we have a NIN with Evasion build do the pulling with ranged attack, works like a charm. Back up pull is usually a RDM.

I do it on sam with a speed bow, seigan te almost always lasts for the couple seconds needed until shit gets Zzzed

I think it's like dynamis, anyone can do it if people are paying attention, but generally someone with some survivability in em is the best bet. I've had PLDs pull before and it worked well too, but most other people don't get it and pull way too slow so I took over doing it myself.

I go pld/war and basically take on the role of puller/organizer. To me, the puller is the most important job in Einherjar. With some mob types (bombs >.>) or sets of 24 mobs, you want to ensure you dont pull ALL of them, and/or aggro the boss. You also dont want to wate time by not having mobs there. I dont like having a DD be puller due to losing the DoT, and mages are often too squishy if they arent smart. We generally have 1 pld/war(me) for pulling + help with hate, and one pld/blm to keep control of adds back at camp. Works well so far.

Had a rather weird "glitch" today. Had some bad luck with the Logi (mostly unsleepable bombs) where we wiped to them with a few ill-timed Self-Destructs. As we were recovering from the wipe, the tiger had popped and subsequently depopped, though the message it gave was confusing. "The chamber's stagnant aura has somewhat cleared. The monsters lurking in the shadow have become restless." I don't have a screen to prove it since windower was being retarded, but that's what happened. Either I'm reading that wrong, or they messed up at least that statement.

Chamber layout was Logi (Wipe with tiger depopping) -> Flan + Hydra.

When the tiger disappears, the mobs get tougher.

Wait there were only two waves? Maybe the tiger (When he disappears) makes the waves tougher, but also reduces the amount of waves.

I know they get tougher when they disappear, the message never used to say that the aura cleared, that it got worse somehow.

Yeah, only two waves, so that could be possible.

"The chamber's stagnant aura has somewhat cleared. The monsters lurking in the shadow have become restless."

    Stagnant aura cleared: keyword stagnant
    become restless: keyword restless

both keyword means "You are screwed, we are stronger"

unless u dont understand the real meaning of the 2 words

Unless I'm mistaken, "Cleared" means to go away, but I might not understand that word either.

Had Behemoth boss again tonite, and didn't have enough DD for a full head-on zerg, so I came up with this:

Have your PLD tank it, all DD far away. They need to not get hurt since we are saving them for zerg. Have your BLM do nukes without pulling hate and bring it down as far as you can.. for 2 DD parties having it at 70% to start zerg worked but I think 60% would have been better if we could do it, got unlucky on thunderbolt and it killed our only PLD. It does not spam TP or meteor, so it is pretty easy to handle this way, and it is easier to keep BLM up than it is DD in this scenario. Then do your SV rotation and send in DD to destroy it.

Tonight we only had one group of skeletons, after they were killed we were given the dvergr and demon boss wave. Is this just lucky to have one wave? It was our first one wave tier3.

The 12 demons are essentially counted as a "wave".

You got the appropriate message for letting the tiger depop. The stagnant aura clears if you get Muninn or Saehrimnir. I had crazy theory regarding that Muninn and Saehrimnir both affect the amount of waves, but no conclusive evidence because I trashed all my records a while ago. (And that getting Huninn or the Sheep would do the opposite, which I don't know)

More or less what Rocl said.
The chamber's stagnant aura has somewhat cleared.
I think this is just a universal statement between the tiger and the bird and really has no bearing toward anything other than making the entire line more colorful. It's just saying that it's no longer "normal", leading to the enemies becoming "calm" or "restless".

That's just my personal view, though.
