    Learn to delagate.

One person shouldnt be leading 30+ people.

Party leaders should be handling brd swaps.

Puller(s) should be focusing on kill speed and getting mobs back.

Targeters should be paying attention to spacing.

The leader for any given group should just be keeping an eye on whats going on and altering the plan as needed.

Leading 36 shouldnt be any different than leading 24 besides the obvious boost in damage.

What Neo says is very true.

If you try to solo lead every aspect of a 36 man Event, you will either 1) do an ok job but be way over worked, and over stressed, 2) generaly only get 1-2 parts working and not get the others going, 3) be overwhelmed and freak out.

    Delegation is best.

-Pullers should know when to pull, not waitig on 1 leader to tell each when to pull.
-If you swap BRDs on the grind part, then the Party leaders and BRDs need to know how to do thier thing on thier own, not be told constantly.
-Each Assist should know what they are to do on a pull, not waiting for one person to tell them what mob to grab.

If you have no one that you can trust to do these things, then you need to teach them. You wont make it long term in Einherjar if you don't. Espically if your not using the same exact group every run.

If you don't want to delegate tasks, then I wish you luck with your first of many meltdowns.

Nah, I don't delegate, I just cover everything up front. I brd for my BLM pt and I do the pulling, so I dont end up swapping. The brds all know what song they are singing, and all the brds are assigned to ballad for their starting PT, so every 3 rounds of invites. Delegating hasnt ever been an issue or a necessity, everyone pulls their weight for the most part. I can type a little to adapt on the fly as well since I'm not overly busy.

I just made the <.< @ Neo because he said party leaders are in charge of the brd swapping, kinda seemed obvious, who else is going to do the inviting >.>

Beats me, the guy said he had a problem with 30+ so I assumed he was over managing every little detail.

Tried the strategy that was posted a bit earlier in this thread, where every party is basically it's own entity. Had 12 Ahriman when we first entered, then the next wave was just the Dvergr boss and his demon associates. We didn't have enough bards to do party swaps, so we just had each party be 3 DDs (with at least one having a good hate ability/spell) RDM WHM BRD. One party of a few BLM, a NIN, and some support pulled the mobs from the main group and held them in the middle of the other parties, who were spread out to avoid AOE. Started off kind of slow, then the pace picked up a little bit. Towards the end of the Ahriman, the bards who were pulling for their respective parties had issues getting hate on them off the sleepers, which slowed things down again. The demons went down pretty easily in this setup, it helped to have four demons at the start on a different party.

Things that will be tweaked our next tier 3 (not going to do this for tier 1 or 2 since it isn't very efficient for those smaller/weaker tiers) will be probably not having the sleeping party in the middle, and just have another DD party. We'll have the bards in each party pull a mob or two that they can, then sleep extras and kill one. We also only had 32 tonight, including our 3 mules, so hopefully next time we'll get another bard or two so we can do bard swaps, or another DD or two to help out there. We won with about 5 minutes to spare, maybe a little more.

When we do the parties all doing thier own thing setup, we don't have an outside sleeper party. We have sleepers but they arent in one clump, they spread out and hang with each of the 3-4 small parties and just help sleep extras that are pulled.

you are correct with the BRDs having issues getting mobs off sleepers, we just skip that step.

BRD pull directly. If there is a clump of nasty mobs, we have one PLD/nin that pulls them, and he runs by the parties in an arch, and we pull mobs off him. And Sleepers that are near each party grab any needed adds to hold untill the party is ready for next mob.

Ah, that makes sense then. How many people do you usually run with? How much time do you usually have left when you do this on tier 3? The Ahriman we were given yesterday took a while to kill, but that also may have been because it was the only wave of normal mobs. I guess if we get some shitty mobs like 6 Shadow Dragons, we can just combine the parties into two groups.

We generaly have 30~ 3 Mules but we dont do anything with them mules other then randomly cure if the person running the mule is resting.

Tier 1 & 2 doing this we have 10~15 mins left usualy if not more in some cases.

Tier 3, really depends on the mob, but we usualy hit the boss around the 10 min warning.

When we get the 6 Dragons, we stay as 3 parties. We find it spreads them out and doesn't cause TP spam. But that being said, handle the dragons as your LS does best, they are one of the true road block mobs in Einherjar.

Also and i think this is semi vital to this setup. Balance the parties. Don't put all your best DDs in same party, and then make a 3rd party of all your low end DDs (under geared) if you do so, you will be in for trouble as your one party will be done with mobs and having to run across the area to pick up the slack of the weaker party.

Another thing that someone brought up yesterday during our run, when all the mobs have been pulled, and only a couple are left, the other parties not fighting should go help finish off those mobs. I thought that was common sense, but it helps shave off a minute or two.

As a completely unrelated note, but it reminded me when you were talking about curing on mules: We had a NIN mule, and the person playing it would always randomly Mijin on a mob and scare the fuck out of me. It had a practical purpose to do that too, in the case of the NMs with random hate, or reversed hate. One less character that is far away for it to go after.

    Ortnildes chamber last night

    6 buffalo
    12 imps
    6 wivres

    kb boss FUN!

had ~ 29 ppl including 4 mules for win. thought we were porked on time when 6 wivres and kb spawned for last wave. killed wivres and go the 10 minute message. brds sv, swap pts etc, and we raped kb- seems like he was really spamming the emotes too because only 3 meteors went off and they were manageable for the mages to keep melee alive. im wondering if this is because we have 8 ridill wars among the dds- could all the multihits have some sort of stalling effect on the kb tp move spam?? took down kb in just over a minute, crap drops.

I guess, if you have the room. My group is usually full so losing another DD for a mule we won't use is out of the question for me.

I used search for this, and i couldn't find it.
    How do you guys deal with the Ormar? the ugly dragon things, super high HP, and dispelga and all that jazz, totally ruined our run twice. started them with 15 mins, and left us with 1 min for boss -.-;
    thanks in advanced!

Keep them silenced and stun body slam/cursna/cure and suck it up. They are by far the shittiest mob you can get if their HP draws too high. Those fuck about half the runs they pop in over for us due to HP/time spent.

I see, thanks, so hope to the Gates of Valhalla that they don't pop with Mega HP! we got them 3 times, got lucky with hydra boss that went down in 1 min, but they still suck ass regardless if they got high hp or not

Is there something I'm missing about leeches? For some reason, whenever we get them, they are little destroyers of fucking worlds to us. Sunday we got a T2 with 24 leeches and Corse boss and could not even make it to the boss, and we've gotten 12 of them on T3s before that were going flawlessly until the little buggers popped, and they timed us out before we could even attempt the boss.

Our healers can never keep up with the curaga and erase spam, no matter what jobs we use. WHM, RDM, even with a couple SCHs it doesn't matter, we're always out of MP after like 7-8 of them and have to just ride out the last batch. They always seem to have more HP than the other waves too, so our usual "stun and own it before it uses a tp move" doesn't work. For all the TP moves they have, they sure love acid mist.

I've never seen anyone mentioning having a hard time with them, but I think, short of the massive HP dahaks, they are the worst thing we've encountered...even Logis and Draugars go smoother now. Does anyone else have trouble with these?
