The plan was to verify one or the other. I decided to try out the "fully unlocked" thing.

First floor: killed all of the inner rooms, and 1 room in each wing. Killed all 4 Mamools

Second floor: Cleared all rooms

Third floor: Cleared all of south, but skipped Rampart

Fourth floor: Killed Second Rampart, didn't kill Mamools, nor Poroggos. Didn't spawn a Marid

Fifth floor: Madame were up when we first entered the floor at 1 hour mark.

Two were fully unlocked, our main MNK (Isomiau), and the RDM (Pchan). RDM were also the one that zoned us down to 5th floor.

Oh, RDM told me we killed an extra Puk on first floor, since he pulled one from the second room before we moved north.

Person who ported to 5 had pathos(no rings)

The person who took my group up to floor 5 was the same person missing rings, as well.

Possible that 2 people didn't end up hitting porter nearly at the same time? This may disprove fully unlocked person porting as the pop condition.

So far that seems to be a common link between all the successful pops.

My group tried to reproduce the run last night. We entered towards the end of Lightning day and reached 5FN at about the 57 minute mark with no pop. We didn't get any ring cells though, so noone was fully unlocked.

Nope, entered late Watersday. Changed to Windsday during first floor, and we teled to 5th floor during earth (I believe?) or whichever one comes after watersday

Well, I'm not saying that you have to enter on a specific day in order to pop the madame(s). It's just that there isn't much seperating the successful and failed pop attempts except for which rampart was killed in order to port to 5F.

In any case, that's what, like 0/15 on 5FS madame and 1/3 on 5FN? Still wouldn't write off 5FS entirely but it's looking less likely despite the rumors of all the phantom JP armor.
