Speaking of last night's frog, we went after 5FN madame last night. For the first 60-70% we never had a problem stunning chorus, but as the fight went on, it seemed like the charge-up time for chorus got shorter and shorter, to the point at the end where it seemed almost instant. Has anyone else noticed this on 5FN or other madames? The charge time started at around 4-5 seconds and in the end it was down to what seemed like only .5 seconds.

Not sure what it was then, but me and the blm both were able to stun the earlier ones. At the end of the fight it was like what you guys are describing; I'd start casting head butt as soon as I saw tp animation start and be charmed before the .5 seconds on the cast time was done

It's easy to stun Frog Chorus, we have a BLM who sits in the back and do nothing only to stun it, then spam nukes. A MNK in my group managed to stun it several times by Shoulder Tackle too.

It's possible that day of the week affects wind up timers. I've never seen the frog take long personally for Chorus, but hey, if she takes double/normal damage depending on day, who knows what other day specific limitations are on her?

Speaking of double/normal damage and double/normal HP levels, has anyone noticed these both halved as well? I swear there are 3 variations: 30ish per punch, 50-60ish per punch, 100-120ish per punch. Each time, Asuran Fists always takes around the same %.

Frog Chorus has been instant for us as well, are you sure you aren't confusing chorus with cheer? Cheer is stunnable and since it starts with CH too - that may be a reason.

Chorus is stunnable... last time we did 5FN a MNK saved TP for Shoulder Tackle and stunned it a few times for kicks.

Lately I've had difficulty stunning Frog Chorus. I'm either missing the thing by a fraction of a second, or Shoulder Tackle goes off during the charm animation and I get the "Poroggo Madame is no longet stunned" message.

We've resorted to using stun WS as soon as we see a mob charge animation instead of waiting for the log to display the attack. I have every filter off so it's not like I can make the log move faster.

A tip for all the THFs out there: I've been having half-decent success using Sleep Bolts to stop spells and even abilities sometimes (stopped one Frog Chorus :D), and since I'm sitting out of range anyway to kite everyone when they're charmed, it gives me something to do. Even with DoT it stuns long enough to interrupt spells or abilities if it lands right.

I need some help on how to deal with the 5F madame. How do you guys handle this? there's three ramparts right next to its spawn point. Should we just zerg the shit out of it, keeping dots on it, and lose hate on the ramparts by letting frog chorus through? Or should we kill the ramparts first?

I thought of pulling it to the porter, but if we miss stunning FC, we might uncharm in the mess of gears in the room inbetween.

The Ramparts do not aggro. If you target your charmed frogs with sleepga or horde it wont hit ramparts even if they are on top

Well, they were attacking us last time... Did I just miss someone doing an AoE for some reason I'll never know?

They don't aggro.. someone must have mistargeted. Mistargeting a rampart should've given you full drops I think...

Sleep bolts is a nice tip.

While kiting is fun, why not just get everyone in close, dot it and let it charm you? It only lasts about 30 seconds and it wont hurt you if everyone is charmed.

I hate that 5th floor sac. "event skipped" makes my blood boil. Last time as I lay there dead someone that had followed me ran right by that chariot with invis on. Next time Im going to try using "hide" before I get to it. I'm about 0/15 getting that door open without death and RR.

If it charms at the wrong time and DoT wears off too shortly after or isn't on at all, it'll unavoidably start recovering its HP after it loses hate on everyone.

And I think the charm lasts longer than 30s too. Maybe 45-60s ish, because aside from it feeling longer than 30s I'm almost certain that it's longer than the duration of Flee.

It's about 60 seconds. Last night Vistani got charmed at 40hp following some water bomb spam; I was looking forward to chi blasting him, but my chi timer was at about 1:30. Charm wore off when it was at about :30.
