Maya's power seems to be instant death if people make eye contact with her when she is crying. Alejandro has the power to draw it out of her and stop her power from taking effect, while absorbing its effects and dispelling them before they take full effect. West is also a sick bastard and Angela officially wins the award for coolest bitch ever. Also, it seems the reason that the attacker wasn't identified or present after she got attacked is probably because she was attacked by insects or vermin that Kane is supposed to be able to summon.

I'm not sure how "instant death" it is considering what happened with the woman today.

Who is West? The Irish dude? I haven't picked up the names of the new people.

And lol @ Parkman getting yelled at this episode, that was great.

The finale sucked but it seems they're back to the storytelling that I enjoyed in season 1, it's been awesome so far.

The latest novel points to him just being another random guy with an ability, not some undercover agent (like I first thought he might be). If I was in his situation I'd probably look in her windows at night too.
