Flashback episode. It will explain everything between season one and two.Originally Posted by Jer
Also, one thing I have a question about the people who were in the picture, we still have a couple of them unaccounted for. Possiblly people who can go against Peter but it seems like from what his Mom was saying, he is the strongest of all the "Heroes." My guess is that at the end of the break you will have a confrontation between Peter/Nathan/Kensei/Hiro or something to that effect or the death of HRG possibly? That will lead into the 6 week hiatus or is it longer?

Exactly this is why I think they are going after Claire in the first place, seeing how they know she has the same abilities as Kensei. They wish to use her as a guinea pig I imagine to see if it will work on Kensei. So the real question now is what HRG has been doing always been the right thing!Originally Posted by Moosey

Mohinder said it best: Bob acts within a morally grey area. He realizes how Monroe/Linderman/Parkman were fucked up, and while he's trying to stop him, he's doing some crazy shit to do so.Originally Posted by Serif
And the only Company HRG knew about at the time was the company being led by Linderman. Ivan tried convincing him differently, but he still thinks its the controlled with the same mentality Linderman followed.
Oh, and I see Mohinder putting one in HRG, and West/Claire find the body.
How many more Heroes in the picture do you think we will meet this season? I think they will leave some of the elders out of this arc and bring them into the next season even though that is a risk especially if some one dies or doesn't resign their contract, doubt that would happen. The biggest shocker I think is still going to be Papa Petrelli I think...
That was the first time this season where I actually thought to myself "damn, that was a good episode...". Just wish they'd have 9 of 10 episodes of win like last season.
I still think Noah is working for Adam Monroe. That would give another reason why he's so protective of Claire, they would use her to find out how to kill Adam. Would also explain why the Haitian follows HRG. First and only to die by Adam was Kaito...payback, check. I don't believe that it was Maury since Ando saw the hooded figure as well and Adam would probably want to kill Kaito himself.
I was actually surprised when they went ahead and showed Kensei at the end of the episode lol. Was expecting it to just end with a shot of Peter when he asks who the hell the person is.
HRG was tricked. Kensei found Linderman and convinced Parkman to leave his family to found the company with the Petrellis and the other founders. The company probably originally had the intention of saving the world but Kensei warped this theory and convinced Linderman, Angela Petrelli, and Parkman to turn as well (as well as some others, probably). Once this happened, I'm guessing Kaito, Charles, Bob, and the rest decided to put a stop to it themselves by locking Kensei away.
Fast forward like 300 years for no reason (not seriously) and obviously Kensei and Parkman are exacting revenge (and Linderman is dead) on people. Unfortunately, it's looking like that extra was telling the truth about the spoilers. That's a story for another time. Needless to say, this is the last we'll say of most of the old generation.
Anyway, the 'good' company is the morally gray one that HRG worked for. The Linderman group was the 'bad' company. The Yamagato Industries was the 'good' company, so to speak. They both do morally gray things (just like HRG) but HRG probably had no knowledge of the split... thus far he's trying to stop what he thinks is the enemy. Bob even said himself that sometimes they have to do bad things to do the greater good.
Ahh, nice stuff. That all makes a bunch of sense, really.Originally Posted by kuronosan

So Hiro will inevitably find out that kensai killed his father, and OMG epic (hopefully not epic fail like last seasons final bout). The last 15 seconds just made the really shitty storylines really fucking interesting.
Matt's still standing strong as my favorite character. He got some damn good character development this episode.
side effect of this episode:
kensei stopped aging once he developed his powers... therefor the same applies to claire...
anyone else catch where i'm going with this? *wink*wink* *nudge*nudge* know what i mean
Lol, I'll have to see if I can find the page but somebody wrote an article when Claire was first introduced about this. It was funny, but at the same time some of the detail he put into and thought about it made you wonder how much free time he has lol.Originally Posted by Bartylby

completely off subject, but do you think she regrows her hymen with each pump? LOLOriginally Posted by Bartylby
I was thinking the same thing. Kensei never aged since the feudal Japan time... yet Claire aged from baby>teenager. Just a dumb plot hole unless I'm missing something.Originally Posted by Bartylby
