If somebody was trying to shoot Claire with a gun, it seems unlikely that bennit would step in the way given that he knows she would survive. Unless the gun had a dart with the virus in it, but in that case we wouldn't be seeing a painting with a hole in his face.

I think they want us to believe Mohinder shoot HRG to get Claire for his experiment, since Bennet would probably try to stop him. However, I doubt Mohinder would actually end up killing anyone, he probably shot Bob or something

But how would they even get one? You would think NBC would be tight with info on future episodes. Afterall, if this were a reality TV show and some website gave spoilers about who won or made it to the finals early in the season, the network would be on their ass. Not even the contestants can tell their spouse in private and swear them to secrecy without getting sued.

Lost's final was spoiled 3 weeks before airing last years. Not uncommon that an image like this pop befire airing. It's not impossible leak like this are made by tv studio as viral marketing, because those spoilers usually spread fast and make people interested.

And then when the relevant episodes come along, they twist everything and it ends up being the mother in the urn and dead HRG was really Sylar after he regained his (and Candice's) power, and Mohinder shot something completely unrelated. Then the producer can say "Haha, we fooled you. Don't believe all those spoiler sites, they know nothing!"
