Well, it's a little harsh to predict that "good guys are going to win" and say it's predictable. Of course Peter will come back, he the main character.

Like I said on last page, I doubt Adam will die now. There is no reason to kill a good villain so early after introducing him.

Adam is a pretty boring villain to me. Regeneration just isn't that scary to me.

They just need to blow his stupid british/asian/samurai/kensei/whatever head off and move on so Sylar can be the main bad guy again.

Also noted by adam : "there's no coming back from that one" when he referred to the shotgun that was pointed at peter's head, therefore it would make even more sense for Sylar to kill him since he uses brains to get his abilities, it would finish off adam.

True, I am just wondering to what extent they are going to give the main bad guy's life span. Is it going to be a static bad guy or a dynamic one?

I personally love Adam, but I don't understand why a shot to the head would actually kill him? Its not as if hes ever been shot in the head and tested out the full extent of his healing, lol?

Didn't Hiro basically blow him the fk up in that tent back in the past, and he survived?

I don't think it's just any blow to the head. I believe it's getting your head completely blown off, like a shotgun at close range would probably do. We know from Claire that she can regenerate her brain, but it'd most likely be impossible if her brain was blown to bits.

It makes sense... the brain gives you the powers, therefore if the brain is gone, so is your ability.

We also know that Claire wasn't able to regen while she had that stick or w/e inside the back of her head... so maybe if the brain is damaged there's no way to use the powers anymore?

Maybe he experienced something similar to Claire when she had a branch stuck in her head. Or maybe they experimented on him in the company to understand his power (since apparently, power can be explained with physics laws >_>).
It's not impossible he just wanted to kill the chick too, and lied about his power.


When Hiro blew up the tent, the only thing left was the mask I think. Cant really tell how much he was burned. It's hard to imagine it wasn't worse than a shotgun, but it was done off screen.

But if that is the case, doesn't that mean that, as long as at least one brain cell remains alive after the obstruction is removed, they come back to life? Her dad should have been pretty much dead till they fed him her blood, yet he basicaly came back to life. Only way i can understand taking something to the head can "kill" them.

That's what I said 1-2 pages ago when I was bitching about plothole. The brain thing is bogus if you try to look too deep into it. So far, the only thing we know is that a non obstructed brain that received minor damage can regenerate, but one that is completely destroyed can't.

I kinda wish they would explain their power with magic instead of sciences and DNA. It would be a lot easier to accept a fantasy element than a bogus science fiction plot.

As soon as that inhibition was gone she could heal, just like Peter in the later episode with the glass. However, in the case of Noah (Claire's father) he could regenerate because the cells put into his body were active cells which trigger the generation. I think it's safe to say that the blood activating regeneration and the heroes with regeneration function on different rules.
