I read up more, but it doesn't seem the writers are like "GIVE US GAJILLIONS". They companies already make massive amounts more than the writers, and without the writers, there are no shows (besides reality/sports/news). Appearently popular shows like lost would make something like 20,000$ for the writers on first rerun alone. Companies are offering now to pay the writers 250$ per episode, to air the episode streaming online for 1 year :/ And saying that "anything aired online is basically a "promotion" and since it's promotional, even if they make money, they're not obliged to pay the writers.

I'm a little surprised Peter can't be frozen, that's freaking annoying. What's more interesting though is the showdown that they are setting up. Everybody is going to end up at the paper company soon it seems. Going to be epic, especially after what Mrs. Petrelli told Parkman haha.
