FFXI Client Issues... {Help me out!}

Okay, so... I am having three noticeable issues with my game client right now and am wondering if anyone else is having the same issues. I have done some snooping around on various websites and have yet to come across an answer to why this is happening and/or anything about other people having the same issue, so I figured I'd try my luck here. Without further ado;

Issue #1; Every single Nomad Moogle that I talk to seems broken to me, yet other people do not have any problems with them. When I talk to a Nomad Moogle, I get three options. (Mog Safe, Delivery Box, and Change Job) When I click on Mog Safe, I get my Mog Safe... Okay, nothing wrong there. When I click on Delivery Box, I get my Mog Locker... (I have extended services enabled to access it outside of Aht Urhgan) Okay, that's a little strange... Now, when I click on Change Job, I get my Delivery Box... Okay, that's where it got on my nerves because at that time I was stuck out in Kazham with no way to change jobs to get back to Aht Urhgan Whitegate... It seems as if my game cannot add the Mog Locker option so that the Change Job option will work... Anyone else having this issue and/or know of a solution to this? I have tried everything, including zoning out and back in and even calling a GM, which was a waste of time as usual. I have even tried to reinstall the entire game and re-update the entire game without any luck.

Issue #2; You know that quest in Norg, where you trade the three Gold Beastcoins to the NPC that will let you reset your Tonberry Hate? Well, me and a friend cannot get this quest and we cannot seem to figure out what we are doing wrong. We've talked to the NPC before, gone out and slaughtered Tonberries, come back and talk to the NPC again, traded the (3) Gold Beastcoins, and NOTHING. He gives up this "It looks like you don't have to worry about those Tonberries for right now." message. (Not word for word, I'm at work...) Anyway, we've tried everything, zoning in and out and calling a GM once again and trying to continually talk to the NPC, but anything we do ends up in no luck. (I know we have killed enough Tonberries because I'm up to 4k damage on Everyone's Grudge... /wince...) Is there something we are overlooking for this quest? We have checked multiple sources and nothing says there are prerequisites to obtain this quest... just to kill a Tonberry or two.

Issue #3; If you noticed before, I have already mentioned a full re-install and re-update of the game. However, when I enter The Pit in Aht Urhgan Whitegate to check out the action... my game client gets an error and crashes... Well, I thought I was screwed because how was I to get out if I crash everytime I'm in The Pit, yet I'm logged out in The Pit? Bad. Very bad. Anyway, I figured out that if my camera view is facing a monster that is fighting in the cage, whenever it goes to use an attack or do an animation, my game will get an error and crash... I can test this because there has been enough lag that they don't show up right away and I am able to move a little bit but as soon as I see a monster, BAM! Game error, CRASH! What in the hell? In order for me to get out, I had to make sure the camera view was faced away from the pit so I couldn't see them in order to maneuver to the door and get out... anyone else having this problem? Someone told me a few other PC users have been having this issue as well...

Thanks for any and all feedback... these three things are frustrating me to hell and back otherwise I wouldn't post about it.

I heard the nomad moogle thing is caused by using an old version of the brandson UI dats (so get the new version if you're using them).

for issue #2, do you mean that you try to get the npc reset tonberry hate? Since that supposely the npc will give you either flag the quest or some key item. But you need to go to uggalepih(spell like this?) to get to the tonberry npc to pay it to reset the hate.

For issue #2 I think you need to have a certain amount/level of Tonberry hate to get the quest. When I went to do ZM4 way back I tried to get the quest and could not but after killing Tonberries for a while a few weeks later I was able to get the quest.

#2 Requires that you have killed at least 1 Tonberry
I also think it requires a certain level of Norg Fame as well.

For Issue #3..

I had a similar thing happen to me, Every time i targeted a Monster in the pit my game would crash. I ran Check Files and it found 12 files that were corrupt. After it finished fixing everything I could target pit monsters. I have Other's Effects turned off so i never had a problem with monsters using skills in the pit.

Hmmm... I do not have much Norg fame, so I will try to increase my fame and try again. Thank you. :D

What is this Check Files thing? Is it an option that FFXI gives you in order to check all of the files, or is it an external program? Either way, thank you. :D

Open POL.exe

On the menu to the right there is an option called Check Files or File Check or something. Do that.
