wow, that's so sad. My LS was taking pics while a rival LS was killing Khim. An LS that doesn't like us generally and we don't like them, yet they didn't give a shit and their tank even asked if I was getting anything good, haha.

lol @ picture complainers. I was a little bugged when we were doing Dynamis after it came out and people kept snapping pictures, but then I observed the fact that it took a split second to do, and didn't care anymore since it doesn't stop you from doing your job at all, or distract you. Win win.

There's a small item delay that doesn't let you do anything for a few seconds (like using powder boots, etc) so it does screw you up a little bit.

I did it while meleeing, and the animation of my punches interrupted the animation of using the item, so I would think that in a melee situation it doesn't effect it at all, as long as the mob stays still for a second (which seems to help getting a picture anyway).

One thing that was mildly annoying, we were at Mamool south, and someone was running around inside of our melee group, and while not actually harmful, it definitely got old pretty quick bumping into them while trying to jostle into position to target the next mob, and we didn't help when they got aggro.

Bad enough dodging around the other melees, having a bunch of people standing "in" your party snapping shots just feels rude. >.>

Ask the linkshell if it'd be alright to get a few pictures, otherwise be patient until your linkshell does it. Theres no need to run up out of nowhere and be a nuisance. Just ask first.. its really not that hard.
Sure its the way that SE put this system in the game, but i don't think it gives people an excuse to be rude.

Suzaku, Seiryu and Kirin all didn't. So I doubt Byakko's would either.

Sorry to be off topic, but this is something I've been wondering about. I've noticed that all mandies in pankration have been the black model so far, I haven't seen any white ones. Well, since I also want a black one I've been snapping shots of Korrigans in Boyhada, but I've gotten myself killed twice because I was paying too much attention to snapping shots, and not enough attention to avoiding links. So can I get some Moriouches and still get the black model? I know the ones in Bibiki would be safe, but I'd rather deal with death than that long boat ride.

(3) type /item "Official Reflector" <t>, don't press enter yet.
(4) hit enter when the winner mob despawns, get to confirmation menu, don't select anything yet
(5) watch the next fight in the cage
(6) confirm your entry (hit enter) again when the winning mob despawns.

lol in our last Dynamis-Jeuno run we had a wipe because everything that could go wrong on a pull did. everyone started complaining that it happened because 4 or 5 people were taking pictures of the mobs. so the ls leader told everyone to stop snapping. I was still tempted to take a few of Goblin Golem, but I didn't push my luck.
