THF/DRG

A good THF fully meritted, in Caedarva mire with meat can average 350-400 damage on Sneak Attacks. Jump is like a normal attack except has a VIT_50% modifier on it. If a DRG's Jumps can range from 300-900 on typical merit mobs, I was wondering what a THF/DRG could with a SA+Assassin Charge+Jump with meat on some random mobs. Any THFs out there with decent gear and merits care to go out and eat a mithkabob and sub DRG and do some SA+AC+Jumps on some Lesser Colibris?

As for Jump, can't help ya with my Lv5 DRG. Could make for a funny screenshot. Though keep in mind a DRG also has about a +60 weapon DMG advantage.

Isn't Jump a ranged attack anyway? Those don't have the highest compatibility rating with Sneak Attack, really.

lol... kinda off topic, but i was thinking about wtf the point of rng acc+3 was on Bailathorn or whatever for NIN a few weeks ago. My ls said it might help if a nin subbed drg, but it don't. lol... Bailathorn needs to be changed, theres no point to rng acc+3 on it

Well, now it has no real use, but before it was changed so that it was no longer throwable, the +3 racc was there if you had some odd desire to throw the thing.

Once apon a time (About 3 Updates ago?) Bailathorn used to read DMG:50 Delay:300 Accuracy +3, Ranged Accuracy +3, Additional Effect: Bind
So the Bold was taken off leaveing you with Ranged Accuracy for when they make it throw able again right!? (SE Fails at thinking things threw)

I used to farm on Thf 25/Drg 10.

Don't gotta engage to SA Jump something, so it saved time every other SA.

Just run behind it with SA on and Jump macro ready, then WHACK! Smite it with a taru.

SA/SATA jump is nice at low levels, does about the same damage as SA/SATA fast blade except it is is instant, can be performed while unengaged (cool to do immediately after pull/first voke), and obviously doesn't require TP. If you precharge SATA, you can do SATA jump -> SATA ws back to back or vice versa which is pretty nifty.

I guess that is not relevant to the OP's question thou.

buddy of mine on kujata once farmed a stack out of boredom in QSC. that's actually a fascinating idea to use them as such. i give him credit for such out of the box (and incredibly overpriced) thinking. then again, at 3k a shot, if he thought ahead enough to start stockpiling them...
also, the jump as ranged attack theory has been around a while, so much so that i've seen drg toting around deadeye gloves to improve their jump. after i stopped laughing, i reminded them that wanting something to be true is not the same as it being true. oh. and that he was an idiot.

You didn't even get to fight ifrit =P it was titan who did that. i think it was raddick who use bailathorns, buying bailathorn out right before ballista royale and then selling it back during/after the tournaments.

If I remember correctly, you don't have to be behind the mob for SA Jump to work. Set THF ages and ages ago (before Hades was created) used to sub DRG and SATA Jump onto me when Hide wasn't up.
