Does the champ actually get xp for EACH win in his 200 fight stint? I have a feeling he doesnt, that way it doesnt make him invincible but nstead give him a chance to get beaten by the people who are actively getting stronger. This way the champ is meant to be beaten.

Yes... They just need to withdrawl to receive the exp. They get like 5 exp per win if they are only defeating low level challengers all day. Thus the reason why champs leave their shit in for days, because it takes 400 wins of 5 exp each to cap their possible receivable exp. Any smart champ will frequently withdrawl their pet to receive exp, get a weak ass bonus to their feral trait bonuses, and re-enter so they are not out of date. Worrying about all the challengers consistantly getting 20 times as much exp for getting stepped on is not a problem because there's a thousand or so people all trying to do the same so no one person is going to be getting stronger at a fast enough rate to beat the champ.

It's just fucking broken and should need the owner's active involvement to stay in the ring. Fuck this AFK shit.

Edit: Wow I just found out, the bhoot that had been winning all night didn't actually drop out, there's a guy with a level 50 wyvre who puts it in just to beat the person dominating the cage, then drops out to let other people have a go at it.

Worrying about all the challengers consistantly getting 20 times as much exp for getting stepped on is not a problem because there's a thousand or so people all trying to do the same so no one person is going to be getting stronger at a fast enough rate to beat the champ.

Except the cap is 50, which is being rapidly approached. The problem resolves itself.

Well, here's something interesting. I just talked to a guy who happened to get lucky when the champion of Diablo dropped out. He won 26 consecutive matches before the champ reentered. He said it only raised his skills by +1. So, in a way, the person/people on each server who have been owning Diablo from the start are going to be at a distinct disadvantage in a week or so when other people catch up to 50, for one because their feral skills will all be at gimped levels, and for another because they are probably going with the first plate they got last Monday, compared to people who have had the time to find one with awesome innate skills.

damn i only got 1 skill up on HP max Bonus, the only skill i had left to cap b4 i defeated the previous champ(Lv50 mandy).
i still got the 2k exp/jetton reward even thou i was 3Lvs under the cap. i guess i will have to fight in the other cages till my last ability caps. GL to the next champ.

We see our champs on alexander only lasting 20-50 fights now. We have at least 5 lvl 50s that kill each other and start it over. This PLing in the diablo ring may have started off broken, but it won't stay that way.

Current champion is Necro X, who is that Taurus with Spikes that I meant I beat twice yesterday. I just really suck with names. Hopefully he hasn't levelled up too much... been playing with my cactuar because my Taur couldnt get a decent match. >.>

Same on Kujata for now. Was able to sign up right after I lost to the champ. (81min wait )

Same on Hades. I had an 18 minute wait in Carnage, then battled, then went back and signed up for a 24 mintue wait. Also, Diablo is np to get into now.
