I suspect he's referring to lamp costs.

    Re: Einherjar: Valgrind (Odin's Chamber)

TBH they needa reduce the delay on this from 3 days to just 1day, 3 days is a joke for just a 30min event at least with dynamis/limbus it might be somewhat justified but for this it isnt. Also would help if there was 1hour instead of 30minutes for this since if ya get a bad draw of mobs (ie. skellies + zombie dogs etc) a wipe more or less counts as a loss.

Not saying its a bad idea it does beat the 3hour camps in someways but they really needa reqork some of the things in this if they want to keep ppl interested in it....

Maybe 30 people = 30minutes and +1 minute for every person less than 30 you have? e.g. 18 people = 42 minutes... also agree on reducing the 2 month between odin bs, 2 weeks re entrance would be fair I think.

    Re: Einherjar: Valgrind (Odin's Chamber)

    Tier 1. 3 Feathers
Tier 2, people on Tier 1 who miss a feather a screwed = less ppl.
Tier 3, people on Tier 2 who miss a feather are screwed = even less peoplpe including the ones who don´t have Wing 1 done too.
Unless you go back and back to get 25+ people for Odin.

Yes I think it´s a bad idea too.
Since I have stuff going with SE still where I should get responds to arround 15 questions soon,
I can´t ask for anything more right now.

So my advise it to EVERYONE who hates this too.
Use the damn Submit section from SE and mail it to them that you do not like this system.
That it is worse then Dynamis. Imagine you get a new person in your LS who has no Einherjar clear.
It will take ~2 months for him to be able to join you on Odin.
(That requires him to be able to show up to all Tier1, then Tier2 and then Tier3 Einherjars and ALSO requires him/her
that you clear all of them). Being realistic it will take him/her 3-4 months just to join a fight where maybe
one Body Abjuration drops. If we are realistic too a LS will maybe get 4 Shots at Odin average/year.
Then of course have to win too. Let´s say 3-4 Body Abjurations. 3-4 for maybe 40 people in the LS who want one
(we talk about want one not them being usefull ) Not to mention the 1/10 droprates on other stuff.

That´s not how Kings should have been fixed. Einherjar is probably more fun now with it being easier, but still....
not perfect. Einherjar has potential but needs some serious fixes. Tell them^^.

So if you don´t like the concept ect, write Square.
Same for 3 Kings. Whatever you guys don´t like spam them. Tell them,
otherwise it just takes too long. (Anyone remember Ullikummi or Jailers?)

Maybe we could all agree on a standard message to send to SE about this, which could then be stickied and everyone encouraged to flood SE's suggestion box.

As far as differences between this /NIN tank and our /WAR tank, Delekii, there's also a drastic difference in DEF/VIT in gear (Sinus generally wears Kaiser head/hands/legs, Ares body, Gallant Leggings +1, vs. the turban/AF2 or Ares body/homam hands/legs/feet that most /NIN tanks will be wearing). Also, he was eating tacos (+150 DEF cap) whereas the /NIN tank was eating Carbonara (attack food with +150HP, I don't quite understand this one myself, I'd use Pescatora if I'm going for +HP). I imagine the DEF difference between these two is a lot more severe than just 25%, and the VIT on Sinus is prolly close to 60 more than the /NIN tank.

Agreed. The fact that they make you clear 9 areas each time is stupid.

My group runs on Thursdays and Sunday. Unfortunately, Thursday is also the day that we run Sea, so we have to do Einherjar before we do Sea. Because of this, we run pretty early so a lot of people get left out due to work/school schedules. Especially PST people. We usually get 20ish people for Thursday, and 30 for Sunday. What ends up happening is we only get 1 feather per week, in essence, since not everyone can attend so we have to do 2 run throughs of each win so the Sunday only people can get all 3 feathers before progressing to a new wing. =(

I would QFT, but I fixed one part I disagree wit. Everyone have 3-5 jobs at 75 nowaday, and the number of armor they want is probably above 1. It's the same problem with salvage where everyone want 2-3 sets, but can't even get 1.

    Re: Einherjar: Valgrind (Odin's Chamber)

I also agree that having to go back and clear all 9 floors each time you want to enter Odin's Chamber is annoying. That would be like losing your Dynamis Key Items every time. You need the Bastok/Sandy/Windy/Jeuno win to enter Beaucedine, but OOPs you lost Beaucedine (Yeah, right), looks like you have to win all of the cities again! Oh, and when you win Xarc, you can enter Glacier whenever you want, but you still have to spend the extra time winning Glacier to get back to Xarcabard.

While Dynamis isn't the best comparison (City wins aren't hard to get), Beaucedine win takes some time.

its not the best comparison because every dynamis has something to offer which isnt the case with einherjar for the most part. after doing about 20+ einherjars we still have not got one abj drop besides the ones off odin.

    also dynamis windy>beau
