Through reading the pages, no one has had any "success". If they did /kneel or /heal they apparently died anyway.

There is a GM watching for Odin fights and reporting back to SE.

"Oh! They did it again! OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY FELL FOR IT!"

Also, is it just me, or is Zantetsuken the coolest mob WS animation in the game?

I love the whole holding his hand up, morphing in this long curved blade and then SLASH! EVERYONE DIES!

    Re: Einherjar: Valgrind (Odin's Chamber)

Did 3rd Odin tonight. Forgot to turn percentages back on for screenshots, but at least I had timestamp on and wrote %'s in chat when taking screenshots. Here's a summary of my observations:

    8:28:34: broke glass
    8:31:22: engaged/aggroed
    8:33:10: dispelga @ 90% (probably off by 1%)
    8:34:33: dispelga @ 79%
    8:35:57: geirrothr @ 74%
    8:37:12: dispelga @ 69%
    8:37:32: first set of summons @ 68%
    8:39:11: dispelga @ 59%
    8:41:42: geirrothr @ 49%
    8:43:25: dispelga @ 39%
    8:45:46: dispelga @ 28%
    8:46:10: still no 2nd set of summons @ 26% <_>
    8:46:37: geirrothr @ 24%
8:47:35: dispelga + 2nd set of summons pretty much at same time @ 19%
8:50:03: Zan almost immediately after hitting 9%, after sitting at 10 for a while, 3rd set of summons right after
8:51:48: dead after the longest 1% ever

    Notes:
First summons came at 68%, 9 minutes after breaking glass and about 6 minutes after aggroing. Last time I'm positive they were at 90%, and that our second set was way earlier than 26%, so I guess it's random?

I didn't see a dispelga around 49%, so either I missed it (possible) or Geirroth replaced it.

Geirrothr (pink spears of doom) happened at 74, 49 and 24, so it seems it's limited to those 3 percentages.

Other moves seemed to be at random percentages: Ofnir at 77% and 76%, Gagnrath at 56%, etc.

I was positive I took SS of when the summons despawned but I can't find em. I remember the 2nd set despawned around 11-12%, so less than 2.5 minutes after popping. Would need more accurate data on when they despawn.

    Drops:
    E Body
    M Body (again ;/)
    W Head
    P Head

Had THF :/. I forgot to take pic of drops (<_>) but got a bunch of the fight. Won't bother uploading them unless someone asks since it's nothing really new at this point.

Like everyone, we had to do tier I's over and over at first because people kept missing them. Attendance was so-so and people just didn't seem interested. Once (nearly) everyone was 3/3 on tier I, our leader started pushing people to take attendance more seriously, so the first round of Tier IIs and Tier IIIs went faster. After the first Odin, attendance and interest shot *way* up (everyone was always online or had someone bot them), so we got flagged much much faster. Also by then we had a better idea of what setup and approach to use. I looked up some numbers in our dkp database:

31 runs for Odin #1 (>.>); a good 10 of those were losses and also the first run got wasted since we didn't know you have to wait for everyone to be inside before pulling. The other 20 runs were spent getting the 9 clears and getting a bunch of reflags, especially tier I. We were going back and forth between tier II and tier I when the (much welcomed) HP nerf occured.
    10 runs for Odin #2; 9 wins + 1 loss
10 runs for Odin #3; 9 wins + 1 reflag for a specific person. One win was particularly epic, popping the crate with about 3 seconds left <_>

Stuff like maintenance, waiting for the weekend to do Odin himself (so JP and EU members can actually play themselves instead of being botted) or now the christmas holiday can set us back here and there, but overall we have a good rhythm going. Odin dates were Sept 30th, Nov 11th and Dec 21st, so about 6 weeks between each. Still a lot of work to keep getting stuff like M Body, W Head and A Feet, but it's pretty fun.

Hoping to hear other people's results and also figuring out the emote thing soon :bagel:

I don't have any SS of party setups, but looking at the attendance list of one our last runs and basing myself on what people come 90% of the time, job count was something like:

    brd: 4
    blm: 5
    blu: 1
    rdm: 4
    whm: 4-5

    war: 5
    drk: 2
    nin: 1
    rng: 1
    sam: 1

    pld: 1

The main ally is basically 2.5 merit parties (4 melees brd healer), with the other 0.5 being the pld and some odd jobs. The pld doesn't really tank, he just pulls and stands there taking hits while people sleepga stuff, then vokes and flashes slept mobs. We use 1-2 wars as assists, depending on type and amount of mobs. The other ally is blm parties and extra healers, blus, latecomers, etc. Bards are kept hasted (and cure bombed) since they're the only ones who can sleep without being interrupted.

    Re: Einherjar: Valgrind (Odin's Chamber)

they basically use the same set up we do except we dont use warriors that much only 2 to assist though , but others are MNKs and sams.

BLu is best thing for einherjar , for thier AOE moves and most of all sleepga that lasts longer then BRD lullaby.

wait noob question, i thought if you killed odin you could go back to any chamber you wanted at will. Is that not true? You have to do all the tiers over again?
