And sorry if I'm completely mistaken, but isn't this from the same LS that caused the first shit-talk fest in this thread? AND the the AV KC burn one? I don't want to step on anyone's toes here but this is the forum where a great number of endgame findings in the game come from and where a lot of the top LSs on all servers talk about common topics. There's really no need to toss some underhanded shit-talk in an exploratory thread like this.

well, no one took a screenshot of anything during Odin except for Matix b/c he landed a triple proc barrage for his epeen. we'll take one next time we get around to Odin in 1.5 months to 2 months. we tried it b/c one of our jp members, Ooga, suggested it and had nothing to lose if it worked or not.
no one had the thoughts "omg i must show this to the world thru the internet!" when we saw that Terny didn't die from zantetsuken, so no one bothered to take a screenshot. Joyo decided to post about it sometime after b/c he wanted to provide a useful bit of information.
Riios, next time Lunarians fights Odin, have Maximuss or Lothlorien try /heal before the WS. we aren't trying to bullshit anyone. sorry for the lack of a screenshot due to lack of foresight this time. our members usually don't post every aspect of everything we do in ffxi for the internet to see. so it's not normal practice for us to screenshot stuff unless it's funny :/

Yeah i was just skeptical that it did damage, I think /heal does actually work to avoid the move completely. I should have said it in a less dick way One of our jp been saying /heal for awhile now too, just haven't really tested yet. If i'm not pullin pets on rdm next time i'll test it out and take some screenies.

well, it's been pretty much common BG law that "it didn't happen if there's no screenshot" so the responses we got were kinda expected. i'm just glad that we can talk about it constructively now

We tried /kneel (or so I was told by several people, I was out of range and all I saw were /bows), but the guy on the previous page said /heal (aka medding) is what worked. If it's true, then the hint they gave at the Fan Fest was kinda misleading...it said to 'show your respect' or something. The /kneel emote makes you 'kneel respectfully', whereas healing (for taru anyway) makes it look like you're taking a quick nap...not exactly a good way to show someone you respect them

Was pretty epic. 75% LS wiped to Zantesuken but we zerged the piss out of it weakened...so lucky. Only did it with 22, as well. 28min fight.

The polearm looks exactly like all those re-skinned elemental staves without the bead. I really wanna see how it stacks up against other DDs in a good meripo.

Not exactly alike. The modded staves use Odin's Gungnir model... For some reason SE decided to use entirely different models for player characters despite being extremely similar to Odin's weapons.
