Like I said I could only stick Para once, but on BLM, I'm not sure if RDMs had an easier time, though. As for the summons, we had a Wlegs RDM and a NIN kite them, they hit pretty hard but depop rather quickly.

The Valkyrie are susceptible to Gravity and Bind. Sleep I believe immune. I didn't see Lullaby, but could work.
crimson legs will out run them pretty well. just have the kiters be /nin b/c the summoned einherjar can hit pretty hard.
as for pulling them, just perform one action on them to get them on the kiter and run til they stop chasing you. don't repeat any hate generating spells or moves if you can, that will make them take longer to lose hate and they depop later. when they lose aggro on the kiter, they will walk back to Odin. don't panic and think they are going to go for the tanks. just let them walk back. then will stand still for a moment then depop.
oh yeah. as for pulling them as they pop, you can do it one of two ways to make it easier. have a puller order, where one puller goes after the other. or.. assign names. the einherjar pop 3 at a time, named after the chambers for each of the 3 tiers. this way is faster b/c they can be pulled right away and not have to risk them hitting the shadows of the tanks who also have Odins attention
On NIN, at night, I could barely stay out of range, I wouldn't say that with crimson you can out run them well. I was pretty sure they had some enhanced movement speed, maybe it just seemed like that because was my first time fighting Odin and was kind of nervous. Playing bard, running around trying to use terrain to keep them off me, they definitely ran faster than I did, I could not get out of range at all, someone ended up curing me, getting hate, then they depopped.Originally Posted by Toonshady

little over 20 minutes from lamp trade to kill, 27 people.
and yeah I was wrong, /heal during Zan does in fact cause the move to do damage instead of insta KO. Was weakened and did 12 dmg through stoneskin.

edit* made a gif of the move for the hell of it, cut off the end cause it was too big. We did live though

grats on 4th Odin Lunarians~ :D
were you the only one trying /heal?
Not sure exactly how many were trying, the people that got KOed in that pic were all standing. I know for sure the tank at the time tried it and it worked, and was a war /healing right next to me that avoided KO as well.
great job! and awesome to see that confirmed with screenshots <_<!Originally Posted by Riios
There were was one tank + some rngs in range too; some tried medding others didn't. I was in the other ally and this is what I saw:

0 dmg comes from either Invincible (which was on) or Shadow Ring, probably the former. He was healing too though, so just Invincible is probably not enough. Also I was curious about Zan range, so I tried < 30' (28.x) and I didn't get hit. Need to try < 25 now!
Just to confirm that Geirrothr (occured at 74%, 49% and 24% again) is a Needle/Discoid type of move:

The non-833 numbers are probably explained by SS/rampart. Unfortunately I took off dmg filters off for party + allies, but I forgot to take it off for "Others" (I assume people in 2nd ally fall under this). Therefore I'm not sure how many people besides the 10 in my ally got hit. But someone mentionned 10k, and 10k divided by 12 = 833 ;x
that's a pretty interesting find about Geirrothr. and would explain why we didn't wipe our tanks on it on our first Odin b/c all melees were in range. but both tanks dropped like flies the 2nd time b/c everyone was told to get out of range.
Thanks for the great info Riios & Stinky (as well as your entire shell).![]()

While you did give info about it earlier (which was also appreciated), it's alot easier to trust the claims when there's visual proof like what they just posted.
So delayed thanks for the info you posted know that the rest of us can see what you said was in fact true.
thanks and sorry for the lack of foresight again :3
Some infos on the summons.
They have enhanced movement speed and aprox 12k hp~ each, very low def. They can WS with their weapon (rdm's sword savage blade etc...) and have highs lvl tiers spells (slow II, massacre elegy etc...)
When they pop is random (probably after a Sanngetall, Zantetsukun for the last wave) but always in that order :
First wave : Siegrune (WAR, double attack), Grimgerde (BRD), Schwertleite (RDM)
Second wave : Rossweisse (WAR), Waltraute (BRD), Helmwige (RDM)
Third wave : Brunhilde (WAR not BRD... I don't know why... he is only the fomor to wear Valhalla's set), Ortlinde (RDM), Gerhilde (WAR)
Odin himself has 110k hp.
Ofnir inflict a -50% def down (very short duration) and darkness magic dmg (can do more with dark weather)
Valfodr's curse take only 25% hp/mp max.
Geirrothr is a 10 000 needles, not Discoid. (avatars takes 1/2 physical dmg)
Yggr give intimidation effect AND boost his strenght / MAG power. Ofnir, Gagnrath, -ga and melee hits do more dmg.
We learned about Geirrothr the hard way but 25%, after we had tanks die at 75% and 50% lol, its 10k needlesOriginally Posted by stinkypoo
