That is the nicest Odin pool I've seen, as a melee lacking Nhead/Pbody/Ebody at least.![]()

Yeah, that lootpool is fantastic. The only thing that would make it better is double E.Body, but hey.Originally Posted by kobra
And I suppose Fork > Hofud, but hey, getting either weapon is nice.
Did we ever get anybody to test Hofud? I'm interested to at least know how well it works
Yea, the potency and proc rate of the added effect could actually make it worth its bad-ass model.
Someone on Bismarck tested Hofud to be a random 10% proc I think of either MP or HP? Or was it 5% (And not equivalent to damage dealt if I recall, but less I think).
Am I the only one that finds that slouching mithra dat edit totally fucking annoying
No, me too.Originally Posted by Leeto
what's the lowest # you would think could go through Einherjar through odin, assuming pretty much unlimited supply of ridill WAR, Gjarllarhorn BRD, Apoc Scythe, soon Kikoku NIN and proper support.
Trying to get LS into it but there's really no support whatsoever, pretty much me, 2-3 'meh it looks cool but whatever' and like 20 people going 'fuck einherjar'
Really just want something fun to do when we have the time to spare that could get us some good items, and myself and the other main PLDs Ritter Gorgets (I'm like 60% there from pickup groups)
You can clear all of Einherjar, including Odin, with probably 18~20 people. However, for wing 2 and 3, you will need some crazy luck to win with those numbers - has been done though. Having said that, I wouldn't recommend brute-forcing it with such low numbers hoping to hit the lucky wing with the easier/lower # of waves. 28~30 people is a good number for a decent shot at winning whatever wings/mobs/boss you get.
Given that I'm pretty sure we don't even have 28 active members of the LS, are there any strategies / setups better suited for a low-man / brute force setup?
Or even if we just farmed tier 1 for ampoules if that's all we can muster, would 15+ be ok?
For tier 1 i would try for 18. It is relatively easy and if your group has the gear you mentioned should be ok. Less than 20 is a death sentence later on. Tier 3 is fucking brutal, plain and simple. I can see the 20+ Jackyl mentioned, but you would have to be very lucky with that you get inside. Check out the tier 3 chamber thread for what our ls got dealt last night.
Bah killing my hope for low-man, fairly small LS, most of our numbers at camp from from 2/3 boxes, looks like Odin is out of reach til they scale it down :\
Thanks for the info
If you were going to just farm low-man, I would just go straight to Tier 2. It's still fairly simple (Basically same as Wing 1, but instead of all mobs being popped, they come in 1-2 separate waves). You also gain 750 Ampoules per win instead of 500 from tier 1.
With the setup you theorized (aka the best possible shit any job could get), you could get away with 20 people or even 1 alliance with tier 3, but it has to be very balanced and your bards and mages have to be clear minded and under control (aka not running around screaming why they are almost already out of MP).
