Why don't people like P.Body? It seems pretty comparable to Ares' Cuirass if you don't have that, plus is looks pretty damn cool. All of ours that have dropped so far have gone autosort.

i even have Ares body 3/3 but not going to make it any soon since i have WAR and NIN only so i see no reason to make it at all atm.

1. Gil isnt everything, and this peice is a hell of alot rarer (and better looking) than ares.

2. The same argument can be said for Ares body, and Ares body costs 3 times as much as P.body.

5. -Dex does suck, but the acc counters. You wouldnt use this for dex build anyways, nor ares.

The wars in our LS with it use it for idle/TP on mobs w/o decent evasion, swap ares in for WS, and E.body when Acc is needed and for some WSs.

Not everyone is rolling in gil and not every linkshell funds stuff like Pbody/Ares Body for their members. 4 mil is a pretty big pricetag for something that's just to look good.

You misunderstand what I'm saying. Ebody and Ares Body are not interchangeable. I'm sure you realize that. I realize that. Any melee that knows how to play their job realizes that.

I'm trying to point out that in just about any situation, Ebody or Ares Body will outperform this. Why spend 4mil on something that doesn't excel in any situation? If you don't have an Ares Body and just want a WS piece, then sure go for it and upgrade the Pbody since it's cheaper. I just don't see the point of settling for something that's not as good especially when you can't sell Pbody back. Plus, it's not that uncommon for ppl who level WAR to also level DRK or PLD.

Granted, I concede this for WAR. However, I was talking about the broad scope of the jobs that can use both pieces which would also include PLD and DRK.

Right, you would use an Ebody/Haub for Dex Build which is sorta what I implied in #2. The -DEX is countered by the +5 Acc, which means you get a netgain of ~3 Acc. So you're getting 10 STR, 10 VIT, +3 converted Acc, +32/30 converted Attk, Regen, and a bunch of - stats. With Ares you get 12 STR, 12 VIT, no Acc, +32/30 converted Attk, and Refresh. Unless you really really need that 3 Acc, I don't see how this is better than Ares Body.

If you really want a regen body, why not just get a unicorn harness? Same effect and you can sell it if you ever get tired of it. And like I said before, unless you really really need that 3 Acc, Ares body should perform just as well as a TP piece. We can agree that Ares is better for WS.

P.body is a virtually identical peice to ares, at 1/3d the price, and twice the epeen.

Now saying wether someone should get this assuming they DO have ares, thats up to the person. The person in our LS that has both uses both based on the situation.

In salvage for example, P.body offers 60 hp a minute regen for our war. 2 ticks of constant regen is damn nice. Not to mention in merit a drk shouldnt be casting that much (depending on the party).

Shit is situational. Be happy for an Ares replacement that costs 1/3rd the price, looks awesome, and gives your mages even the slightest of breaks.

I feel dirty agreeing with you.

The 4m price tag is a bit overkill, but beside that, it's a nice piece. It's definitively the best defensive piece for war, because it also has nice offensive stats. I will use it on weak monsters, when I'm trying to escape a train or survive a bit longer (-20evasion on e.body hurts too), or when I idle for the regen. It will replace barone corazza basically.

and more importantly, rarity makes your epeen bigger.
