We've done it with 17 (I missed that one). But I've seen an 18 man one. Had 4 people on pets so only 14 on odin.

2 aegis plds. A few rngs and smns, 2 sams, rest mages.

Won easily with a few minutes left. Only thing that was kind of scary was Geirrithor since 10000/14 is still quite a bit of dmg.

We did our first Odin with 24 with ~2 RNGs and 2 SMNs I think. Also had 2 BLUs using SATACA Cannonball. Based on your sig I assume your group is probably geared well enough to beat Odin.

Hell, a competant rdm/nin with movement speed can kite the adds by themself easily enough if you are low on people. We should try this with ~10 people and see how much more fun it is!

I don’t call myself a competent rdm/nin but they move with movement speed + , same as wlegs so its impossible to outrun them

Only proven way by me to solo them is to diaga->pop Powderboots -> run! , the head start shod be more than enough for you to out run them

Did a similar mistake a little while ago with another linkshell. Thought I accidently duped my lamp because I had two in my inventory, tossed one and got kicked out of the zone.

I dont know how old the multiple Kiters stragity is, but I would like to share what works well for our linkshell.

we use 1 RDM/THF
Uses W-Legs
brings 3 pairs of powder boots
1 hermes quencher
3 poisen potion (avoid sleepga)
3 holy waters(incase i somehow get cursed when moving in)
12 remedy (helmwig cast parlyze II)
I stand out of range of all AoR, keep myself buffed with Stoneskin/phalanx/protect/shell/reraise/Blink

When adds spawn I pop poisen potion run to them diaga them flee out run away, stop with 2 seconds left on flee and use powder boots (powder boots will no effect if flee is stil adtive after completion of use)

Hermes Quencher is Just a fail safe for if flee timer isnt up when the adds spawn, but I have never had that happen. (you can hold it at 11% and wait for flee timer with no problem) so the only time it would come into play is if the second set came quickly

That being said since i have used this stragity, i have never gone below 1200 hp/1600 as rdm and i feel it is much safer then rdm/nin kiting It gives your alliance over a minute to do 10%

edit: yeah i am the same guy cd mentioned a page or two back who used like 8 pairs of boots rdm/nin, rdm/thf is just much stronger for this job
