Any gundam series but Wing/SEED/Seed Destiny but if your not into mecha style combat you know..you can always not watch anime that much.

they explain more about the story and relationship and the reason between each character in further episodes. But still haven't explain how the power really come from yet. Well... since they also don't know how it come from...Originally Posted by Rem
well, it's mostly a character anime instead of an action one i suppose
i especially like the ones with a noir-like theme, darker than black in many ways remind me of bebop which is one of my all time favorites
Every anime question ends as follows: Read Manga instead.
Kenichi is like Comedy first, Action second, though lol, but I do enjoy it.Originally Posted by genjizero

This is the correct answer, with the following exceptions:Originally Posted by BRP
Evangenlion, RahXephon, anything else where the anime came first, and stuff like Monster where they followed the plot exactly with no filler.
Then there's stuff like FMA where they have completely separate stories, so they're both good in their own way.
@op: I second Black Lagoon.
lucky star's manga came first...![]()
Lucky Star might be a special case because its original form was a 4-panel. Having no overall plot kinda invalidates the normal basis for these judgements.
supposely FMA is anime first, then the manga come out shortly during the anime on air? But it is really suprised me that when I read the manga, the story go totally different than the anime >.>Originally Posted by Charla
and yea... lucky star anime is better than the manga which is the exception
actually there is a rule for me to watch anime right now. If i had read the manga, then I won't watch its anime. And I won't watch any anime there will showed for over a year. But gintama is the exception, even thought I have read the manga, but when rewatch it in anime again, it still so funny XD
Nah, FMA manga was first (I was following it before it ever became an anime), then the anime came about. It caught up to the manga and instead of doing fillers, it just continued with its own story instead...Originally Posted by Osede
This also happened with Trigun. I can't argue that Trigun's manga > anime because the anime was so damn good.Originally Posted by octopus
It also happened with Hellsing but...eh, we all saw what happened to that show.
FMA: While the anime isn't terrible, the best parts of the anime are in the manga.
Manga, manga, manga.
