I think someone needs to draw a time line, with linked information, to the screenshots of when the following happened:

A) Wikia approached Gani
B) Start of official donations and its end
C) When Gani disclosed the payout to admins, if they took Gil's offer
D) When Wiki decided to join Wikia
E) Official Disclosure of fund's use to the public by Wiki
F) When Taj disclosed information
G) When Admins disclosed information to public through IRC

This probably would make more sense for people to see how Gani lied about the usuage of funds. It can also show the discussions with Wikia while the fund raiser was running.

For the most part the major thing that get's you into law school is logical analysis.

Is this the same logical analysis you used on KI when you tried to tell LSs who combined have killed 400 fafhoggs, that when you drag darters through him he will move? After being told by multiple people you still didn't believe it, and even after your own ls did it to more then 1 ls, you still chose not to believe it? If thats what it takes to get into law school I might as well be appointed to the Supreme Court.

First, I'd ask pick a side already. Are you going to argue the pure legality of it(which most people have already conceded that while they'd like to make a case, and might look into it, aren't really all that hopeful that they can do so)? Or instead, are you trying to argue that what Ganiman allegedly did wasn't wrong(this seems to be what you're saying when you deign to even attempt to address the actual issue)? Or are you just saying that obviously an overwhelming amount of evidence against Ganiman that has been either completely unanswered by the Wiki staff, or else confirmed as being true, is yet not enough to convict him in the court of public opinion?


If its the first, then as usual you're opinion while incredibly badly made and inconclusive, is also irrelevent due to the general concession of the point that legal action probably won't be brought against Ganiman, no matter how much many of us think he should pay. Most of us accept that even if there IS a case there, none will probably made against him. That doesn't change that his actions have been very obviously shady, and if the allegations are true then he is one lying scumbag piece of backwards filth.

If its the second, then your opinion that "I don't think what he did is wrong" is pretty much unqualified. You have given no good ground for your opinion(or any ground that I can see other than that its probably not technically illegal which is irrelevent, or that "all businesses do it" which isn't a ground for saying that its not wrong, only that businesses in general have no morals). So while you're entitled to your opinion, we're entitled to think and say that you either have the morals of a cockroach or else the intelligence of one. Sorry bud, but you're not a martyr, and deliberately making your stupidity apparent to the FFXI community doesn't make you a martyr, only stupid. If you don't believe what he did was wrong, and you actually think your opinion is valid, then you need to provide more than just "fuck I don't ask walmart about what they do with the money I pay for a DVD with", as its pretty weak logic.

If its the third, then you're either an idiot, or not paying attention,in which case you're an idiot to argue when you don't have all the facts available. Not that thats unexpected of you. Ganiman had a chance to come clean when Taj first noted the left over funds in the original "Dear Ganiman" thread. Instead he sent another admin to try and defend him, and never really explained where all that missing money is. Now it comes to light that he never intended to say where the missing money is, and just have Gil bail him out. If he'd admitted he'd fucked up and said "but its ok, we're going to get that money back to you and really sorry we fucked up" he'd have saved himself alot of face. If he'd come out and said that Taj was a lying sack of shit with mad photoshop skills, and been able to prove it, then he might have saved face. He's chosen to neither deny the allegations, or make any accounting of himself whatever. Whats funny is that if he'd said anything whatsoever of consequence, then Taj probably wouldn't have gone to the trouble to dreg up so much crap on him. Since he acted like he had something to hide, he got treated like someone that has something to hide, and Taj crucified him for it(in what admittedly is one of the most epic wins of all internets).


Whats funny is you can't seem to decide which of these three positions to take, but just switch to another one when someone debunks your logic on another, and keep on jumping between the three because obviously if you can't keep your own story straight, then we probably won't either.

Cept that a) its pretty obvious what you're doing and b)no matter what position you take, you're views are either irrelevent, ungrounded, or idiotic, so you're stupid no matter which way you come.


And I know I know, holier than though asshole Dirian is just picking on you because he can't stand when someone holds a view that isn't his own, I almost feel bad about it really, but maybe if you didn't keep holding idiotic opinions I wouldn't feel the need to keep calling you on being stupid.
