I'm not sure I get it. jhankin calls it telatexo, but the logo pics are teletexo. Did the person doing the logo designs get it wrong, or did jhankin get it wrong?

Ok, so you showed you have skills in creating an image in the time it took. Now repeat this, text included since you only did 2 lines, and there's a few full paragraphs in there, about.. what.. 14 times? I don't even know how many pictures there are on the first post, but I'd like to see how long it takes for you to create those kinds of images (mind you, not the copies of the ones on there, but copy and use completely different text.

Of course some of them were shopped, little boxes were added to add enphasis. Overall I'd say it was pretty detailed, and if it was edited, it musta taken a half-decent amount of time.

It took me about 60 seconds to click save as, edit the file in notepad and resave it. Another 30 to open in Firefox, print screen, paste in MSpaint and crop it down. If you were doing it in bulk, you'd probably be faster, I wasn't really going for speed. Writing the text would be the part that would take the longest, it took me a few minutes just to decide on the crappy line I put in. If you were trying to make a convincing frameup, you'd want to spend some time going over the person's publicly available posts and make sure that it sounds like them. Depending on how good you are with creative writing, that could take 30 minutes or all day.

Ragns: I think they IP banned him more for logging on Ganiman's wiki account and changing the front page to this.

Also, here's a linkto the Whois query that Taj is referring to. Ganiman does indeed own telatexo.com. Curious to know why the logos are incorrect though, maybe a last-minute name change.

Here's some more pictures I took earlier in the night related to Telatexo (I didn't think they were very interesting, but whatever.) The reason for the red border is because they were taken with Vista's "Snipping Tool." Anyone with Vista can confirm this. <_<

Please just stop. Speaking for people who have sticks up their asses (mine was implanted at age 3 by a midget with a depth-perception problem), you give people with sticks up their asses a bad name. Yes it can be easy to fake stuff like this, however two things prevent me from thinking its fake:

1) the magnitude of evidence involved. Yes it took time to gather all that, real or fake, but I doubt that amount of evidence would be present if it was indeed fake. One could simply make a few choice emails, but taj posted a metric shitton to drive the point home.

2) the lack of comment from FFXIclopedia. I may be jumping the gun on this, but all Ganiman really has to do is make a statement and show proof that he's not getting money from the move. Could be a statement from Wikia or the like. If he is indeed making little to no money from the deal then it shouldn't be hard to give such proof.

That and its taj we're talking about. I'm not a taj bandwagoner like some of the people here, but he has shown some trustworthiness in the past.

The issue isn't that Wikia is paying them for ffxiclopedia (Of course they'll be paying for it, expecting this stuff to just be given away for free is hippy talk) - it's that the Ffxiclopedia team were lying about how they flat out rejected Wikia when first approached, instead they were just waiting for a better price while accepting user donations to keep the servers going in the meanwhile. I think that's what it is? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, it's nearly 6:30am here not really thinking clearly >_>
