all i can really say is *try* to fight mobs around your lvl, if theyre defensive, use defensive moves, and vice-versa for aggresive
oh, if it was 1fp per lvl, i'd have 67/75 instead of 67/71

Just hit Lv.50 and I'm now at 79/85 FP. Gonna fight some matches outside of Diablo and see if my FP can still increase while trying to cap my 'Add. Ice Damage'.
I dont think you will get more FP after you hit Lv50. I have been Lv50 since last week, won more than 30 single fights and my FP still the same: 70FP for a tauro.Originally Posted by djriceyes
So it sounds like you need to get as much FP as you can before you hit 50. So starting out as lower level monster has some merit.Originally Posted by Armanio

YOU DO NOT GAIN FP AFTER A CERTAIN NUMBER OF FIGHTS. YOU GAIN FP AS YOU LEVEL.

since my last post, i believe i did 16 or 17 diablo matches. After the 1st match, I did get a Feral point(i was 'capped' at lvl 28). I am now lvl 36, and got 5 FP out of those matches...67/76 now
like i said in my other post, if it was 1 every level, right now i 'would' be 67/83, but im not.
Die in a fire.
Leveling a Corse. It started at lvl7 with 17FP.. now its lvl 11 with 21, so it gains 1 per lvl.
Just a few questions tho..
1) Because I have low FP is it pretty much expected to lose alot til its higher up? Ive lost every match even to pets 2-3 lvls lower than mine.
2) "Iniate skills" These are skills that come with pet and dont require use of FP correct? In turn doesnt it make sense to only use a pet which got one of these when you first made it? Like you would keep making a pet til it gets 1 'Iniate skill" atleast? very confused on this

edit: wyvern finally hit 50, was off by 2 FP
Although Apkallu start with a lot of FP their growth rate is very slow. I'm predicting 84-85 FP at 50. I will be very disappointed if it's less than a Korrigan's 85.
My funny gold roboty thing got an FP at 10 and none since (18 now) consistent with 1/10 levels mentioned elsewhere.
My mimic got an FP at 10, one at 15, and one at 20 (all when it levelled, 24 now) consistent with 1/5 levels.
The robot wins about half its matches, the mimic hasn't lost in more than 10 levels (4 draws), but I don't think thats relevant.
Fixed FP by mob type. Gained at set levels.
My corse started out with 19FP at lvl 9 and has been gaining a steady 1 FP per lvl (currently 28 at 18).
I have an Opo-Opo made from a Young Opo-Opo (Yuhtunga, if it matters).
He started at level 4 with 53fp, and has gained 1fp with every level (currently 13 with 61fp).
Rams are 2 FP every 5 levels. Base FP = 40 at level 1 (reverse calculated since lvl 1 Ram can't exist)

My chigoe seems to be getting a 3/4 FP growth. Started with 72 at lv 7, has 84 at 24. Finishing with over 100 FP will be nice.
It's been about 13 levels since I posted my FP totals for Wyvern and it looks like I was right (currently Lv.42 with 63 FP)
I'm wondering what I should do with the rest of my mob's FP, though; it's a WAR/THF with 50/63 FP from WAR Traits and leveled Double Attack. I've narrowed it down to three choices:
2 Killer traits (probably Arcana and Bird)
DEX +25
THF Traits

instant haste is always an option also, i hear its actually a pretty good option to boost your damage by a fair amount.
it's also 38 FP and since that post I've dramatically changed my wyvern's feral skills.
