I actually use it to change my strat based on what I'm fighting. If i'm fighting an acrolith or jelly, something thats heavily defensive built, I hit Show no Mercy, do that first Mandibular Bite or Venom Spray, then hit show more bite. They'll go for their first tp attack, and I'll sidestep it. Then I hit Show no Mercy again and it'll usually immediately Mandibular Bite, then I switch back to show more bite.
Then if its a Mimic, or a mob that I suspect will stun my first tp move, I'll hit Guard/Block/Parry and my ant will just sit on its tp. The mimic will eventually go at about 150 tp, then I'll hit Show no Mercy and tp it. Then I swap back to guard/block/parry.
I haven't experienced any commands yet that don't work if your pet is a specific temperment though. I just think the temperment is how your pet acts when its not being controlled personally, since its affected by whatever command you use most commonly.
Also, Kuno, maybe the reason your Bee just sits there and doesn't do anything, is because its possible it doesn't have access to Pollen yet, and it doesn't have any other Defensive moves, causing it to just sit there.
