Karma is a bitch..... he got what he deserved.
He was resisting the whole time. If he would of just gone with the police like they ask after his little heroic questioning that wasn't even his own orginal thoughts there wouldn't of been a problem. Instead the fanboy who read some book, and now bealives every single word of it to heart decided he was gonna yell, and scream and try to get lose. Deffinitly got what he deserved.

WHY ARE YOU ARRESTING ME OH MY GOD
POLICE BRUTALITY!! rofl
Kinda need to know why they were chasing him in the first place.
Yeah, I wonder why the police were on him in the first place... that does kinda make a difference to me, even though with what he did in the video the police had every right to tazer the guy.
He clearly missed every point of Dr. Rock's "How not to get your ass kicked by the police" educational film.
According to comments from other UF students he came into the room with them behind him, so he probably provoked them outside the room trying to barge in.Originally Posted by Amarok

lawl, my brother and I were just talking about this... he was a history major in college, so I made him this:

That was hilarious, I bet the kid wasn't even expecting the outcome to be like that. I wonder what happened to him lol.
Tazering people is so awesome.
LOL, Glad i'm not the only one that thinks so XDOriginally Posted by Tricen
I think he would have been alright if he didn't put up a struggle and run in the direction of Kerry.

Enjoy your freedom of speech guys. Seems like it's fading away real fast :/
Non-US guy here...and from a non-US point of view, it's really scary.
I don't really see the issue.Originally Posted by vegetaa

If he didn't resist the cops they probably would have held him there while Kerry answered the question."I believe I could have handled the situation without interruption," Kerry said in a statement issued Tuesday, "but again I do not know what warnings or other exchanges transpired between the young man and the police prior to his barging to the front of the line and their intervention."
Actually he didn't really do anything to anger the police and they were totally out of line. He asked a rather long question and raised his voice but it is justified, Kerry is a public servant not the other way around, the kid was being arrested for nothing, they are violating the first amendment. I will link to a full version of the video bellow.
In the news artical they stated why they started arresting the kid which is COMPLETE bullshit.
If you watch the video as soon as the microphone is cut off he doesn't even do anything and is instantly pulled to the away."He apparently asked several questions -- he went on for quite awhile -- then he was asked to stop," university spokesman Steve Orlando said. "He had used his allotted time. His microphone was cut off, then he became upset."
Bad quality but has everything:

I think he got what he deserved for resisting arrest but before that all started Kerry said it was fine so they should of left him alone seriously! Thats so bullshit!
