I have a cook book that states eggs should be left at room temperature, stupid pos!

Half gallon of milk, 11 Dr Peppers, and a thing of baking soda because the fridge stank when I moved in. One day I hope to have such luxuries as condiments or lunch meat.
Theres a tray underneath your fridge, normally barely hooked on 2 rails, it holds water from the compressor and you just knocked it off. Pull off the front grill and you can put it back np.Originally Posted by Meteora
I think your supposed to take em out and put em on the counter for a while just for when your gonna cook with em. Kinda like how you make tea hot, then chill it, but opposite.I just did a search to prove my point just to find: "Store eggs in a cool, dry place, ideally in the fridge" - Food Standards.gov

If you keep eggs in the back of the fridge, not on the fucking door, they can keep well for many months. You will use them before they go bad.
When you are ready to use the eggs you should put the in hot, not scalding water, because they will cook faster, better. Specially if your making scrambles.

That's right. Because it's what you do when you're in college. Well, I can't really say that I never visit the ol' sushi bar and indulge myself every now and then, but that's maybe once every two weeks or so.Originally Posted by djriceyes
