If you change your wiki skin to SmokeySlate, it gets rid of the right column ad (for now anyway). Be warned though, it moves the normal navigation column (previously on the left) to the right side, so it can take a little getting used to. But I like it (mainly due to lack of ads).

Bolded for emphasis, but yeah, dont make promises you cant back up. Once they finally fix the massive database issues that make otherwiki run like a turd, once they fix all the user pages not linking up correctly, once they adjust the images to not clip into the pages, and once they actually allow editing again, then fix the other issues that Im sure have cropped up, those skins are getting clipped.

FFXIC is done, BGwiki will be a better resource within a month. Make your time.

I feel like im late to the party but WOW, i just skimmed this thread, and the other 40 page one and... Shit like this is why i dont bother with ffxiclopedia much. Kinda figured something like this would happen eventually, not really all that surprised though... It's the american way after all... Capitalism at the expense of others (flame me all you want, its true lol)... Although that doesn't necessarily mean that every american is like that, but this doesn't really surprise me one bit.
