Seriously ; ;, especially if it was one of the first few guys you got early in game ><
Especially when your character is master everywhere, and you have to kill him to learn his skill list. >_> Should just give you a crystal when they leave, instead of making you waste your time.

I alway's level early, have at least everyone to level 8 squire to get that out of the way before i even do the first fight after meeting algus. then work on doing everyone else to at least get monk and thief mastered for kicking ass and stealing stuff, usually at least one knight for the power and speed break to make stealing from people painless while keeping them alive.

    Re: FFT

My group consisted of a WHM(with Time mage spells), and the rest ninjas. I would Haste II every ninja I could so they would be much faster than almost anyone else in the entire game. I would have either sunken state or abandon on the ninjas so that they would avoid being hit while being able to sneak up behind and destroy everyone near them. Ontop of that, throw combined with the elemental Flails was game breaking. You hit a dude for 120 damage and then get an additional 70-140 Fire damage, it 1 shotted almost anyone.

what set up did everyone else use?

I always got a kick out of just having 2 calculators rape the entire battle, but its pretty cheap

Ever try a Ramza-only run, with him as a Calculator? It's easier than Cid-smash-boss.

I never played calculator, I alway's use monk's later on.

Ramza as a mnk later on is 999 dmg on everything. Accumulate for 5 turns to get his phys attack up and wear all +attack items and give him hamedo and he's untouchable and 1 shots everything. and can heal himself to full with chakra.

The game will probably be more than 1GB in .cso format right? I might have to buy a bigger memory stick for this game, even though it's just a remake >.<

    Re: FFT

I just leveled a bit and kept to the story. No real point to me to just level up everything all at once. I level up to the main jobs I want master them, then get all the extras. Or in the case of ninjas, samurais, or other jobs that don't have equip for a while the extras then main jobs with the equip.

Edit: Oh and until my last play through Ramza was always a Squire with jump and two swords. That made every battle pretty easy. This latest time im using ramza as monk. Anyway, give your melee Blade Grasp asap. Blade Grasp makes ninja's sick nasty. Kill mages and watch as melee whiffs eternally.

    Re: FFT

FFT was awesome because of the auto battle feature....

I would literally setup battles all the time when I was playing through this, set up auto battle commands... and go to school, or do homework, or go out, etc, come back and had lvl'd up... repeat

all games should come with some sort of auto function lol

    Re: FFT

Just started playing it on a emulator for GBA. Got really far in and couldn't work out how to unlock other jobs ( 2 soldiers, Archer, BLM, WHM and White Monk ftl -.-)

finally found out how so starting again. Is there much difference between the versions on different consoles?

    Re: FFT

I think your playing FFTA which is a completly different story line from the original FFT. Alot of people will say they they hated FFTA because of many reasons, but I thought it was good. Many of those law things were never really bad since I usually had a melee based team.

    Re: FFT

I could never get into FFTA after realizing that certain races were locked out of certain jobs, limiting job combinations. I'll probably look into FFTA2 even if it looks like that hasn't changed since I'm eager to spend more time in Ivalice after FFXII.

Looking forward to owning shit with Ramza as monk/squire with two swords again though when the remake of FFT hits.

That... sucks so bad. I am hearing that the game is infuriatingly slow during any attack animation... like -agas and Stasis Sword and... ANY attack. That is really too bad, and ... makes me consider cancelling my preorder here =( Also read that the sound isn't syncing, and so on.
