    Only if it's bad that I'm leveling the job just for the look of the AF, since I feel cheeky using wardrobe to change anything other than my character model.

    I must be the only one who wants Necromancer >.>

    least now we can really dance happily together. I'm just not looking forward to the Dancer animations... or the countless "Evolution of Dance" macros to pop up in the dunes... and lvl 75 (you know who you are)

    Maybe this time I can jump on the bandwagon and lvl all the jobs I need out of the dunes when everyone jumps at the chance to lvl Dancer (and hopefully others)

    Hero Song + patience + auto-counter enemies who rarely/never attack you otherwise (y helo thar Behemoth) = win. They were also pretty good in FFIII: DS, but that came out after FFXI, and the orignial NES version bards were not quite as stellar.

    Bard in FFXI IS lame, and boring as hell to play. (75 brd here btw) I didn't say geodancer would be underpowered(obviously we can't tell), just that it would be dumb/lame/gay/boring.

    I remember in one of the interviews SE did about the expansion they did say that they were doing an overhaul on the combat system. This job could be one of the reasons for that.


    IDK, I'm grasping at straws here, can't wait to see more info.

    Juggler! New melee job that has an A+ in throwing, to go along with the new ranged weapon skills I've been wanting them to implement since ToAU was announced.

    I can totally see them crossing that with the swordsman thing and doing an old school ninja that throws your ridill at something when you're not paying attention.

    I'm not even sure if Necromancers count. >.> The only FF game I can find them in is FFV, and even then it's only on the GBA version.

    How does that apply to any of those other than time mage and mime? The closest thing we have to chemist is like... usable potions and consumables? lol. The closest thing to engineer is.. pup? Not very similar to Edgar's abilities at all. Necromancer is sort of like hybrid smn/blm, but not that close, and SE had already tried to implement it in ToAU. Squire/onion knight are dumb, but we have nothing that similar, unless you want to count warrior because of the number of weapon types it can equip?

    Geodancer overlaps a lot more with brd and elemental ninjitsu than those jobs do with anything really.
