Haven't read all the details (if any), but I wonder if it's going to be like the Spectral Dancers (a fighting class) from Lineage 2. Based on the pic, however, looks more like a cheerleader to me (support)...

I could envision a 2hour that revives all dead party members, unweakened, full HP/MP, and also restores the mob to full HP/MP.Originally Posted by Marcicus
But what would be even cooler is if the 2hour reset time limits and conditions in BCs and Battlefields. Wipe on a BC? Screw up on your chance to pop an NM in Salvage? Just Return and start fresh with your full time limit and fully alive and unweakened alliance for another try.
Of course, that'd never happen.

Just for those wondering if Regain and Meditate stack.
Of course they do.
Says a 75 DRK/SAM who uses Monarch's Drinks, Tactical Rings, Wing Gorgets, Icarus Wings, Sleep Potions and Absorbs-TPs.
Only things that dont stack are Regain effects themselves, and there are only 3 of them afaik: Monarch's Drink, Tactical Ring and Wing Gorget.
Besides that neither Meditate, Opo/Sleep, Abs-TP, are clasified as Regain, so an eventual Regain dance or w/e would stack with these 3 methods of getting TP but not with the Potion, Ring and Neck, unless they make the dance a special buff (song/roll) so it would stack with those mentioned.
Pfft, dancer raising TP, something else is probably rising if ya got a mithra dancer!
I predict a job class that uses Sailor Moon moves to destroy it's enemies.
Roses? WTF?
I'm seeing autoattacking with various dances active, dances providing effects like bard songs in reverse, instead of madrigal or minuet, big evasion or defense down effects, new slow effect, intimidation effects.
Interesting possibility: Dances having Geomancer properties, where certain dances are more powerful on certain terrain.
That might take away from Geomancer, should they decide to add that.Originally Posted by Max™
No news on the the trailer popping up anywhere? ;/
Am I alone in thinking that Mithra are not hot at all? I admit when I first started the game, I thought "OMG Mithra are HAWT!!" now when I look at them, "Meh." comes to mind.Originally Posted by Gulkeeva

But they did say they were gonna show a video on Friday 21 which is today (in japan xD) so maybe later today? what time is it there right now? and when does the TGS start up again?
I doubt they would do both, not after hearing about the flower/vines attack.Originally Posted by Khamsin
Sounds like it would be a good way to introduce it without it being useless in many situations.
Where instead of "oh man, theres no XXX Terrain for the ability which this mob needs used against it."
It would be "oh cool, I can make XXX twice as effective by standing here" but it would still be useful without it.
Think Elemental Magic and Day/Weather bonuses.
Last I checked, Friday would be the 21st and Saturday was the 22nd, but of course you might be using the Venezuelan calender.Originally Posted by Lordshin

I think people read too much into the vine attack. If a SAM can WS with pretty pink flowers, a Dancer can WS with vines.
It doesn't really fit the traditional style for either an earth attack or grasslands/plains attack, either.

Gotta keep mithras shaved, and stubble is a pain.
You can wax em too though, but who wants to kiss a furry body, my cat has enough issues with hairballs, I don't want to know what it's like.
As for Geo, it just seems like a neat way to work it into the system without having it be completely useless in many situations.
If a Geo couldn't fall back on something besides Terrain abilities, what would you do with it?
If a Dancer could take advantage of Terrain abilities, but had none available, you could still get the effects of Dances.
