    Zombie (in ff6 at least) put you at 0 HP, cures wouldn't work but you remained active at 0 HP. You couldn't control your character, and the character would also randomly attack allies as well as enemies. Holy Water would cure the status and put you at approx the hp you'd have if you were raised.

    Of course, <3 Google cache for letting me read it. It looks like it varies from game to game. I'd bet it would be the latter description, if they would implement something like it in FFXI.

    Zombie is a negative status ailment that appears in various games in the series, as well as the spell that causes the status. Its effects vary from game to game. In some games, the player loses control of characters inflicted with Zombie, and they automatically attack allies or opponents. In these games, the game ends if all characters are zombies. In others, the Zombie status makes the afflicted character undead, acquiring the same elemental resistances that zombie enemies do.

    Zombie can be cured by using a Revivify (in later games called a Holy Water).

    I feel ya, I got websense @ work too. Except they block Bluegartr as well for being a "forum-based" website. Yeah ... hate websense so hard.

    Looking closely at the footage, it REALLY looks like the rose move is coming from the RDM. Just before the rose blooms, theres a flower trail coming from the rdm's body, and it flows behind him.
