In Tactis, Bards ONLY buffed the party and Dancers ONLY debuffed the enemies. Bards could only be Male and Dancers Female.

Should also be noted that Dancers and Bards both sucked hardcore in tactics, with one good song. But, they managed to turn Bard into something godly, they might be able to do the same with Dancer.

Yes but things were alot different in that game. BRD kept most of the same Songs and carried them to here and turned into what is. If Dancer kept the same dances it had, some of the would suck but some of them would be great, they had a stop dance if I recall and stuff like that. Just saying it will be interesting if it is Dancer.

Good God, I'm hoping for Sword Dance. Not even kidding, FFV fucking owns if you have a Dancer on your team, among other things. (Except for FFV: Advance, Gladiator's Elemental Attack is so fucking broken)
