The job seems okay. You could possible have one dance up at a time and the effect lasts as long as you dance. Since its a supporter type, I'm guessing it will have both buffing and debuffing dances. But what weapons can they use?(Not like it matters, like BRD who suck in melee capabilities.) But they could get a decent rating on Staff and thats it, I'm also expecting a "Ranged" slot for them, but not sure what item it would be to activate dances, etc;.

It would look great with a BRD and DNC in the same PT. I can also envision SE making the BRD and DNC like the ones in Ragnarok Online lol, to use Songs/Dances when the two jobs are near a certain vicinity.

Awesome, or it can be at least if they take it the direction I assume they are taking it to. If they have dance animations such as the electric slide, macarena, harlem shake, hustle, riverdance.....

Should also be noted that Dancers and Bards both sucked hardcore in tactics, with one good song.

I have no idea what to think whenever people say this. Every time I play FFT, I get a Dancer as soon as possible. I don't use a Bard much unless I'm doing something specific, but I use a Dancer all the time.

A direct translation of them to FFXI wouldn't work, of course; their thing was "AoE" (well, global) debuffs, and while that might be great for Einherjar and maybe Dynamis, and a few Assaults, usually it's a bunch of PCs against one enemy at a time (even if there are others claimed, they're usually sleeping). It will be interesting to see what they do.
