How hard is it to kill people with vehicule now? I didn't like how it was nerfed in Halo 2 (compared to 1), because there is nothing more enjoying than ramming a jeep, ghost or w/e into someone.
feel free to add me to the list

always looking for CooP Legendary and deathmatch.
Relatively hard. As of right now on all the ranked playlists, the most amount of opponents you can have is 4, so you pretty much have to find 2 people fighting each other and hope they don't hear you as you're driving along. I finally got my Mongoose splatter achievement, which took FOREVER, simply because even if you hit someone dead on, if they have full shields they don't die. Also, in my case they always seemed to see me or hear me and jump away every time.Originally Posted by Kaylia
6 achievements to go, gonna try to get Steppin' Razor, Kill Frenzy, and Maybe Next Time Buddy today.
On the other hand, its somewhat easier in an aspect in that its much harder to jack vehicles now. In Halo 2, you could almost just hold the button while someone is coming at you full speed, side step just a tad and jack them out of it. Now, they have to be moving really damn slow, and you have to be at the 3 or 6 o'clock position, and hold it for a second or so.
That kinda suck. Messing around with vehicule is so fun, and those kill are always incredibly satisfying. There was no point to nerf them really... (except tank >_>)Originally Posted by Alina
In H2, only the idiot who couldn't get kills using their guns resorted to running people over. It's always the dude with 2 kills in snipers who starts running around on a warthog looking for people to smush lol.
i ride around in the mongoose honking the horn trying to distract the other team so epical and Bweigelt can kill them. it has yet to work, but i feel its due.
Idiots? Perhaps you don't realize how goddamn fun it is to run people over.Originally Posted by Deejay
Reminds me of UT2004, when everyone zipped around in the hovercraft thingy cutting me in half (and ignoring all my shots). Although it was kinda fun the 1 time I managed to jump on top of the thing.
Why are they idiot, whole point of playing halo is to have fun, and I'm sure as hell they are going to have fun running over people. I dunno how many hundred Halo1 match I played, but I probably messed around with vehicule half of the time, and it never got old.Originally Posted by Deejay
And everyone know it's easier to kill with a weapon than vehicule... >_> If you are playing against someone who isn't semi clueless, you probably won't be able to kill him once using vehicule, which is stupid since it require as much skill to ride over someone than it does to press R1 to trigger the shotgun, or hide in a corner to snipe people. They should buff them a bit to make them efficient killing tool.
Unreal 2004 was he other way around for me. Vehicule were overpowered and not fun to control. Was always making match with too many players chaotic and not giving anyone a chance to live more than a few sec. I had more fun bouncing around using jump pad than vehicule, or killing people with translocator (most underated weapon)Originally Posted by Charla
Not saying driving vehicles is idiotic. I'm saying only idiots who don't have kills ever go use them. Maybe I just worded it wrong but that's what I was trying to say lol.Originally Posted by Kaylia
You never see someone who is leading in kills hop on the vehicle cause they always die. Only on flat levels where theres no rocketlauncher do you see the vehicles really do anything.
Is there any point in getting the skulls other than the achievements? I was looking at some of the effects and some did things like double the enemy's HP... why I'd do that, I have no idea lol. And the terminals, what are they for?
Having skulls on boosts your multiplier for the Meta-Game. I got all of those achievements my first time through each level. I used: Tough Luck, Catch, Fog and Famine, and did them all on Normal.
Got Two for One (did it twice, actually) and Killing Frenzy...just need Steppin' Razor and Overkill, both of which are proving extremely hard to get -_-
They're there for high scores, and for making campaign more unique and fun. You can tweak the game pretty heavily using the skulls, and they make for some pretty fun variations of the game.
Black Eye can be really fun to play with
I know, but that would mean I was an "idiot" when I was trying to kill someone with vehicule for the sake of it. >_> One could say that to some extent, but the one kill I will make landing a jeep on top of someone totally worth the 20 death I had to suffer before. It's easy to keep a 1:1 ratio when you play normally otherwise. Not saying driving vehicles is idiotic. I'm saying only idiots who don't have kills ever go use them. Maybe I just worded it wrong but that's what I was trying to say lol.
Ziphor07 (zero seven)
Add me for online legendary or multiplayer custom map fun.
Just finished the game, and W O W at the entire game, nevermind the Act 7/9. Fucking 11/10...
Anyways, upon completion (co-op Legendary) I only got the Campaign Complete: Normal achievement, but not Heroic or Legendary (I thought Normal/Heroic were supposed to auto-get if you beat it on Legendary?). I went back and played the last Act again from Rally Point Alpha, but didn't get an achievement at all after I beat it. Do I have to start from the beginning of the act? I wouldn't really care to do it but the last level is so epic + we're talking like 300+ GP... >_>
I got 425 points for beating it on coop Legendary which included normal and heroic. Nothing extra for beating it solo just the cut scenes.Originally Posted by Epical
