Paralysis Arrow

I saw a video yesterday of a THF soloing Fenrir and I was in total and comlete awe from the first attack to the last.

So, now for my question. He starts off with Ice debuff (Huton I believe) then shoots a Paralysis Arrow with a Lamian Kaman that procs before switching to Ungur boomerang. I can't find anything in the description of the arrow or Lamian Kaman that explains why the paralysis sticks for so long. Six minutes into the fight it's still proc'ing. Why is that? Is it a glitch that was fixed in a later patch? Is there a hidden effect on the Lamian Kaman? Is it all the elemental debuff from Huton?
btw, he has to enfeeble Fenrir again after his 2hr.

I'm really really curious.

Someone pm'd me that it could have been a Patriarch Protector's Arrow. Sounds probable, but he had 91 of them... so I'm kinda hoping it wasn't

I know! That guy's so good. Kind got shaky afterwards (mabe too excited from not getting 1 shotted) where he WS'd instead of recasting shadows, but PD saved his magnificent ass.

its paralysis arrow, they just last an incredibly long time. I've been shot with one in ballista at about 19:00 on the game clock and it didn't wear off until about 15 minutes later after the match was over

how about the proc rate?

It's pretty good I suppose. I just looked at the first 28 attacks and it stopped 6 of them. Not entirely accurate, but that's about 20%

Does he remove the Utsusemi animation .dats to reduce lag or something?

Flees weren't random, the first one shadows were down and needed to buy 9 seconds and I think since Fenrir was so close to 2h'ring he didn't want to risk getting any dmg. I think the second time he 2 shadows left, but both timers were pretty high.
