NFL Week 3 Picks

I disagree, I think Jacksonville just proved that they have one of the best defense in the league, particularly against the run. Also, if you watched Raiders vs Broncos, I'm honestly amazed Lamont Jordan did as well as he did this week, he and Henry both just beat the living shit out of themselves in the 2nd half.

Point is, the Broncos are 2 field goals away from being winless against teams with a combined record of 18-33 last season. That's horrible for a team that had superbowl aspirations going into this season.

I'm like -6ish with Reggie Bush and Marques Colston, going up against no one. So I'm somewhat worried.

I think Houston played a damn good game against the Colts. A lot of people automatically counted them out just because they were going against the Colts, and they only lost by a touchdown with 6 injuries.

Thank god for brees. I was only up 9 points with no starters tonight. Opponent had brees starting. Was a fore-gone conclusion that I had lost this week. BUT WAIT!

Wow Brees is garbage. I was up a fair amount, the guy im playing had colston. Needless to say, i pulled it out, largely because Barber and Witten had monster games against the NFLs #1 def.

Was talking to someone who almost lost their game in a keeper league, but he had Bulluck as his defender and Brees as his QB. He actually gained 4 points from the 4 picks Brees threw since INTs are 3, INTs are 2, rofl. Brees is just awful right now. I think someone's missing Joe Horn's presence in the locker room.

Sorry, I had to. If Calvin Johnson is indeed down for an extended time, I knew he was going to step up, so I snagged him. I may end up subbing him in as a main as well anyway, so it won't go to a waste. I'm 0-3. Desperation.

It truly is mind boggling. Maybe emotion and riding that emotional high after Katrina had something to do with it? I doubt it but how can one explain such a enormous drop from last year to this year? We can officially call it the Turner syndrome. When good teams suddenly become mediocre at best!
