So I suppose I should post my discoveries here.

-Gustaberg can be seen for a quarter second of time. (check viewtopic.php?f=2&t=24531 )
-At Second44, smoke can be seen coming from behind the mountains.
-Second 49, the meteor. (prolly obvious and old)
-Second 57...that zone may be either Lufaise Meadows or Davoi. Seems more like the meadows but not sure how the old Davoi looked like.
-Time 1:05...the imps flying around Zvhal are actually white?
-Time 1:09...is that Luto!?
-Time 1:24...new monster, no name so far.

There are already plenty of white-ish imps (devilets) in the game.

yeah but the ones in the Trailer are white/yellow
and SE need to update the Site >.>

Also, be sure to check the site often as it will be updated regularly in the coming weeks!

I know it can mean once ever 2 weeks or once every 3 >.> but still.....

Yes, the imps flying in Zvahl did look different. Yes, the entire video intentionally shows different zones by showing them in present day, and then it shows them in the past with the extra fortifications. Yes, there's lots of stuff that was spotted by people that pay attention but realize these details aren't significant at this time.

I haven't seen it mentioned yet, but~
anyone considered that 'Cait sith/Stray'
Is possibly beastmen type race? Like
Qiqirns? Maybe they are from that
crazy looking Atomos place.

Also, this one doesn't have crown,
like Cait Sith does- I can't remember
what Stray looked like atm- not that
that is significant enough to mention.

Also, that orc looks fierce.

I"ll be honest, i didnt read most of the thread. But in regards to cait sith not having a crown- maybe it has something to do with glory crown? As far as i know, it's just inventory-1 atm.

not in ffxi but bahamut is sometimes refered to as the keeper of time. anyways i was doing the drg af3 quest and a npc mentioned something about savages to the south practicing dark arts. whats directly south of san'doria? bastock so naturally i thought of dancer wich is described as having forbidden magiks.

You're thinking too hard. DRG quests were made way before Dancer was a twinkle in the collective player base's eye. So I seriously doubt SE would allude to a job thats not even on the drawing board yet.

Its probably talking about the quest NMs. If you're too far from the ??? you get a line "It seems like a ceremony took place here" or something like that. So the "savages with dark arts" bit either referrs to the two elvaan fomor you kill or the tonberries that summoned them or something.

The Savages to the south practicing Dark Arts was a reference to a Dark Knight from Bastok.

Basically: There used to be a Drk Captain in the Sandy army during the war(I can't remember his name for the life of me). But his methods on the field of battle, while it gave Sandy victory, caused too many deaths for both sides and he was then replaced by Rahal and disgraced outta Sandy. This same Drk in recent years had been practicing Necromancy (the Dark Arts/forbidden magic you mentioned earlier) and planned to use that, along with the Drg AF Helm to revive himself to his full power and take OVER THE WORLD!!! (I'm being serious ._.). This Drk used the Necromancy to summon the 2 Shadows you end up fighting also, by the way. Anyway, ignoring the rest of the story, Epuracion's ghost/spirit/being comes and saves the day.

Thats pretty much what the forbidden magic was about. I put it in small font for spoiler reasons, although, I can't see many people caring about the Drg AF storyline, lol
