Sweet! I was briefly watching it here and there, but I was missing way too many episodes to actually follow the story. Oh well, I'm glad I get to catch up before season 2 is out.

i love how in the pilot fiona has an irish accent and its a completely different actress playing the mother. i didnt even notice those two things the first time around.

I think Fiona slowly moves away from the accent, she still has it at some points in the show, like certain words, but pretty sure it's not nearly as emphasized as in the pilot, I can pay more attention to stuff like that this time through. And I like the mother better with the other actress (who plays the non-pilot episodes) so I like that change, but also funny.

Um, unless I am getting wooshed, the mom is the same actress in all episodes: Sharon Gless. She changed her hairstyle but it's the same person.

It's actually in the 2nd episode about 10 minutes or so in. I thought it was a later one, but went through episodes on my computer and found it.
