    Pulling Jailer of Fortitude

I read here a little while back that you can pull this and somehow separate the kf'ghrah. Tried it once by popping and training to the entrance as suggested but kf linked. I think it was pulled as they started walking back instead right as hate was lost when the trainer zoned. So, what is the method used to pull this without the kf?

    Re: Pulling Jailer of Fortitude

Just did this recently as well. Popped it (From NW ??? position), and zoned it to the actual entrance. Kf'ghrahs never got far enough away. We tried splitting up PTs, and seperating them, but it didn't work well, since their hate is tied. I went back in, pulled Fort, and then just ran him from entrance, through the zone, to see if the Kf'ghrahs would lose hate: Only one did. The one that last hate cast Sleepga which I outran, so i'm pretty sure that's why I lost that one. The other Ghrah never stopped to cast on me. I zoned again, and was gonna try taking a few hits and waiting til the 2nd Kf'ghrah cast on me then make a run for it, to seperate it (I do have w.legs), but someone else in LS managed to do something similar, by the time I zoned back in I saw Fortitude walking back, all alone, and tagged it safely.

Gonna try again soon, just need more Ghrah M Chips.

Wait, you can make the Ghrah's despawn and fight JoF alone?

Or am I somehow reading this wrong?

You can do it~ I'm appearently just not very good at it yet ^^ Usually doing this because not many people available, I wonder if it would be possible to just pop it in a PT of 2, one pops + gets hate on Fortitude. I would like to test more how Fortitude and the Kf'ghrah's hate works. Would it be possible for PLD/NIN (or w/e tank) #1 to pop + Flash Fortitude > PLD #2 Provoke one Ghrah > Flash the other, just for the purpose of separating them? Or is hate tied so strongly between Fort+Ghrahs that it'll follow whoever has the most hate on just the one? From doing Fortitude in Alliance in the past, i'm sure i've seen a PLD Kite Fortitude, while 1 PLD grabs a Ghrah and the rest of the alliance wails on it, however that Ghrah always seem to randomly start following the PLD who is kiting.

Long story short: From the times i've done it, you can separate them solo, as long as you can get the Kf'Ghrah to cast, and get out of distance. Eventually they just wander back to the ??? and despawn, but Fortitude won't.

They don't despawn you can just separate them to fight Fort alone. Fort still retains reflect.

Yeah he still reflects spells at ya, we use BLM/NIN to Tier IV him (Does around 5~6% per nuke) and it just bounces back harmlessly :D I shouldn't have said they despawn, because I don't know, we never go back to check if the Kf'ghrah despawn, or just sit at the ???, but even if they did despawn, he definetly does not lose reflect.

    Re: Pulling Jailer of Fortitude

I've pulled it before as rdm. Dropped party, hit chainspell, traded the items to pop, cast gravity on both grah's, and ran for the zone with Fortitude. I have no idea of the resist rate on gravity, I did it with full enfeeb merits, AF body, relic hat, enfeebling cape, etc. Zoning him was obscenely easy, I was rdm/nin with no +movement speed and was perfectly fine. You might want to check and see if anyone else is in the zone before you do it though, might have someone try to steal.

Like someone else said, he keeps his reflect, but blm/nin's can take him down easily. IMO, it's much funner this way :D

to seperate the grahs from fortitude you need to have 2 players other than your popper each eseal grav 1 of the 2 grah's, then you run fortitude to a zone and zone out. quickly zone back in and aggro fortitude, grav will have given a HUGE distance between fort and his grahs.
