    UFC 76:Knockout

Light heavyweight bout: Chuck Liddell vs. Keith Jardine
swinging for the fences type of fight, keith jardine is a good striker but no where near the caliber of the iceman. Jardine will win a ticket to slumberland.

(Real Main Event IMO)Light heavyweight bout: Mauricio Rua vs. Forrest Griffin
Forrest is pretty 1 dimensional, Shogun is not. Shogun is classified as the #1 light heavyweight in MMA today.

Welterweight bout: Diego Sanchez vs. Jon Fitch

Light heavyweight bout: Kazuhiro Nakamura vs. Lyoto Machida
Lightweight bout: Tyson Griffin vs. Thiago Tavares

    Preliminary card

Lightweight bout:Diego Saraiva vs. Jeremy Stephens
Heavyweight bout: Scott Junk vs. Christian Wellisch
Lightweight bout: Michihiro Omigawa vs. Matt Wiman
Lightweight bout: Anthony Johnson vs. Rich Clementi

names in bold are my picks 2 win

I can not fucking wait for Shogun to destroy Forrest. Nothing against Forrest, its just that I've been following Rua since his debut.

Routing for Chuck this UFC. Anyone know when GSP is supposed to fight again. I can't get enough of this guy, he'll be champ again for sure.

GSP just fought a month ago so it might be half a year before he fights again. Maybe he will get the winner of the Hughes/Serra fight? I kinda hope not because I want some new name to get a crack at the belt. (maybe Diego Sanchez?)

Diego Sanchez is probably my favorite TUF alum. He transitions so quickly into different stuff. Really impressive for such a young fighter.

atm Hughes is #1 contender for welterweight (duh because he'll fight for it in Dec. @ UFC 79) GSP will be #1 contender after that fight since he beat koscheck, and koscheck beat diego, so diego has to work his way up to GSP and fight him before he can get the belt, if he can win against jon fitch.

My picks: Liddell 1st round via ko, Rua decision, Fitch by knock out 2nd round, Machida via submission (rear naked).

As for GSP, he gets the title shot after Hughes vs. Serra.

GSP vs Hughes won't likely be until April, maybe March at the earliest, but I'd wager April.

Light heavyweight bout: Mauricio "Shogun" Rua vs. Forrest Griffin

Griffin defeats Rua by submission (rear naked choke) at 4:45 of round three.

Light heavyweight bout: Chuck Liddell vs. Keith Jardine

In the main event, Keith Jardine defeats Chuck Liddell by split judges' decision. Judges scored the bout 29-28 and 29-28 for Jardine, and 29-28 for Liddell.

wtf. I like forrest griffin but I love shogun, just goes to show that anything can happen in a MMA fight. I'm saddened to see Chuck lose to Jardine, I think he's lost a lot of morale and may be on his way to retirement.

    Re: UFC 76:Knockout

Ahahahaha. I'm SO happy Chuck lost, he deserves to lose after taking this fight with Jardine. So, that brings me to something startling... Who gets the next title shot now? If Jardine beat Chuck AND Forrest, who beat Shogun, does that mean Jardine gets the next shot? If so, lol@that
